I play much lower stakes than CTS so take my advice with a grain of salt. I do mostly limit now but when I was doing NLHE almost all of my 4bets were bluffs or steals because I agree that just calling the re-raise disguises my premiums and I usually win more post-flop. This IS exploitable, but my opponents didn't know that or didn't act on it. For one, I pick situations where I won't have to showdown my hand... I'm bluffing after all. Vast majority of the time overwhelming force gets a fold and my opponents often assume I had AA, and that's fine with me since that's not how I play aces. ...

Most of you are mis-reading his stats. He's in the BB, so his VPIP is almost irrelevant. His PFR% simply means he's probably not raising 22-88 here. Most of you overlooked his AF though, which at full ring is pretty high. So saying he NEVER does this with Ad6d may not be accurate. I still think it's a clear fold based on the action (not his stats) but it's pretty inaccurate to characterize this guy as a nit.

I was being sarcastic. I haven't heard from him lately, but if he's still running around claiming 250%+ is sustainable then I'll continue to LOL and make sarcastic jabs. He's a good player, just needs to re-adjust his expectations so an "omg only hitting 95% ROI so sick huge downswing" doesn't demoralize him so badly.
