Re(5): This has become a community of hatred, and I find it disgusting.
I have simple sentiment. I won't play anymore online poker. Happy to play live and play in a fun league game every week. I simply have too much distrust now for what's happened over the last couple of years, and I've made the decision that it's not worth risking my hard earned money. Sad that it's come to that, but all of this stuff has made me completely disinterested in playing another online poker game. Enjoy and good luck.

Re(2): Poker effecting School Motivation (somewhat obv)
Back in 1994 when I was in 2nd year college, I discovered charity casinos around my city and started frequenting them often. I was playing 5/10 and 10/20 limit plus blackjack by myself, taking over the entire table and playing 6 hands at 10 or 20 bucks a hand. One day, I walked out of a charity casino with over 3K cash. It was surreal to me and I immediately started skipping school and showing up at casinos as they opened at 12PM. This went on for a few months, until I had not only lost my profit, but lost essentially every dime I had at the time, plus some extra bucks I borrowed from a ...

Re(3): Your Best Poker Accomplishment(s)?
Having a brutal run all summer '05, turning it around with FTs left and right on Paradise, which peaked when I won their 30R 50K for 14.9K - at that FT was a guy I wasn't too familiar with named xxBlowXX. Guess I now know who he is lol. I remember trying to go to bed that night when it ended at 4AM. Didn't happen. I remember being the CL the very next night after hour 2 and thinking that this was a dream. Was fun getting railed hard though. I don't play much anymore, but a couple months ago finished 3rd in FT 10PM 24K guarantee. I enjoyed that a ton, was great to drive down memory lane and ...

Re(4): Register Here for Coverage at Niagara Falls WPT Event
Ace, I showed up yesterday (I had a 640 voucher from winning a step one the previous week) at 11AM and was 1st in line, yet because they have cash game players preferential treatment, was the 20th player of the first SNG. It made me really pissed. (not as pissed as getting close like I did and still missing) I loved what Foxwoods did when they ran sats for the World Poker Finals. They opened up their basement poker room and ran tons of step one and step two sats, giving as many people as possible their shot. Based on the waiting list I saw when I was done (3 hrs later I was TKOd, frickin ...

Re(2): Register Here for Coverage at Niagara Falls WPT Event
Just a note for people that are still looking to satellite in live, they are a trainwreck right now (I was there in their Step 2 640 buck today) in terms of lack of tables vs. demand. For the next week I was told they will be running 1.2K satellites only until the ME. Can someone confirm that'

Looking for SNG advise for tomorrow
SNG experts wanted here.... I am playing in a 2 table, 20 person SNG, 640 buck Step 2 at Fallsview tomorrow that pays a WPT seat to the winner. 2nd gets a replay in a 1.2k sat, 3rd replay in another step 2 640 buck sat. Starting chipstack is 2,500, blind levels 20 mins. Blind levels are as follows 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 100/200 ante 25, 150/300 ante 25, 200/400 ante 25, 300/600 ante 50 and so forth..... Appreciate comments on typical strategy you have applied to this type of format, especially in a live setting. Thanks!

I too am fired up about it. Like Gun, I spend my summer weekends away at the cottage with my family...so haven't been able to fully let 'er rip in the forums, but that is about to start. Should be an awesome experience for anyone that likes playing armchair QB.

Re(4): So I've got a kidney stone
I had a stent placed in mine after each cystosocpy. What made those surgeries a complete nightmare was the recovery. I had to drink a ton of water and was on a lot of percosad, but it didn't matter. Pissing hurt more than anything. Hell, I had to get run to the hospital for additional painkillers because the pain got so bad with that damn stent inside me. I too pissed up blood and small pieces. I wasn't myself again for about two weeks. My last one was close to 5MM, or half a CM. Way too big. Funny you had that experience with the lithotripsy. They did that procedure on me without putting ...

Re(2): So I've got a kidney stone
I've had the displeasure of suffering through 6 of these little pieces of shit. Worse, three had to removed via operation. Two cystoscopies (look it up, then cringe) and one lithotripsy, and I managed to pass the other three. My urologist studied my stones...and my problem isn't with drinking water. I drink a lot of water specifically because I pray it'll prevent a future stone. But unfortunately for me, I have a slight malfunction that allows for too much oxylate production, thus I go through an epidode every 2-3 years. Really frustrating as other sufferers can attest to. Each time it ...

Re(4): fucking bullshit
Yeah, Goodfellas ended peacefully. All three Godfathers ended peacefully, Donnie Brasco ended peacefully right' Bah, Chase fucked millions of loyal viewers with an ending that rivalled the trash Seinfeld gave us years ago. How the hell he left the Melfi thing alone is the worst part. That was one of the biggest reasons why the show was so successful, and she doesn't even cameo the last show' And yeah, it's obvious they'll do a movie. Big fucking deal. I'll wait for it to come onto HBO so I don't pay a fucking penny.

Re(6): Stanley Cup Finals Game 5...will the Ducks win it all tonight?
I have absolutely no clue what happened to Ottawa in this series. If they had played AT ALL like they played against Buffalo (who I believed was a better team than Anaheim anyways) I truly think that Ottawa would have won. But outside Fisher, I cannot name a single player on the Sens that played to his full capabilities in the series. Shame because when you get that damn close, it hurts. I'm a Leaf fan, but know how much winning a cup means to other diehard Cdn. fans. Sorry Mike, I really mean it. BTW, it was nice to see a team with no balls (AKA the Leafs) decide not to pursue a GM with ...

Re(5): GOOOOOOOO SENS!!!!!!!!!!!!11
I guess I qualify as another in that endless line of Canadian azzhole snobs. Look, I'm happy that you're a dedicated fan and grats on being this close to a Cup. Lord knows I haven't had a sniff of that damn trophy in my lifetime (I'm 35 this summer). But I feel pretty strongly to this day that the league has put teams in cities that simply do nothing to add/promote to the game and I guess I just would prefer 'hockey' towns, which includes cities like Chicago, NYC, Boston, Philly, Pitt etc win it if a Canadian team doesn't. I'll never understand why a city like LA, which with all due respect ...

I can't believe I'm saying this to you, but I'm sorry Mike.. Am rooting for them too now. I just can't stand the thought of the last three NHL champs coming from Tampa, Raleigh/Durham and now Anaheim. Yeah, wonderful. Hope the Sens pull off the miracle. It beats 5000 pretend fans showing up at their rally if the Ducks win.

Without revealing that spoiler....it will ruin 6 years of the greatest show ever conceived if they go that route. Please please please don't end a great show with a thud like other great shows did. I still am stunned at how lame a finish Seinfeld was.

Re(3): Does any athlete own a team more than Pujols and the Astros?
I still remember the Pujols moon shot against Lidge. That was agony that I haven't felt since the Oilers/Bills '93. I still for the life of me cannot understand why Garner didn't walk him. I'm still convinced losing that game was a major part of the reason why they got swept by the Sox. They woulda had a red hot Oswalt starting game 1, instead of a hobbled Clemens. Sigh. Ownage.... Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith OWNED Miami. Barry Sanders owned any NFC Central team in the Silverdome. Joe Montana owned the Rams, well the NFL but the Rams in particular. Pittsburgh owned the Oilers in the ...

I aint betting.....I have no clue - I had Bobby turning rat ffs. I agree 100% there will be Soprano blood next week, just dunno who. If I were a betting man, which I'm not.... Dead next week Phil and his top Lt. Paulie Junior (I think Tony finishes him off as one of the series' final scenes) Several others of Tonys crew Jury out but possible Tony Sil Melfi Carmela AJ Meadow Janice And I agree with another poster, NY always will beat NJ in this kind of fued, so I probably should count more on Tony's death than Phil's. For some reason I think Chase wants to kill Phil bad.

Sil not dying is a big story. I think Sil gets the hell outta the hospital and either he or Tony kills Phil. This entire run since they returned has been a breath of fresh air after the first half of the season. Questions are - Does Junior live' Does Melfi live'

Re(2): Which Online Poker Site Do U Miss the Most?
I used to arrange my day to fit Paradise's 30Rs....And once I got TKOd, there was Coral, or Palmtree etc. Am proud that I took a nightly 50K and Palm down before they f-d off. Loved the personalities on the site too, I feel like a distant relative disappeared and is never comin home. I tried their site without the US traffic, and it sucked so much that I couldn't be bothered. They could offer me free money that is truly redeemable and I still would probably not bother anymore.
