Re:Trips late in PLO8... is this a bad shove? In this spot, limping is not the best play. Since you are short with a pretty strong Low draw with suitedes, I would raise pot and hope for the best pre. Hopefully you take the blinds down, but if you get a call, you are still in good position to take at least half. Just my opinion Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:OH H/L HAND IN FTOPS Nut high and 3rd nut low'' maybe I have no clue on H/L omaha, but I would say shipping this in as soon as possible would be my play. I gues he could have A4 with a nut spade draw, but I would still not be folding here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:If I want to win To not play this hand like this is not wanting to win the tourney. You are putting yourself in position to gain alot of chips which puts you in better position to play for top 3 money. Maybe i am wrong, but everything you wanted to happen, happened. Re:Was this a good move? I would not think this is a grat move. In these tourneys people are more than happy to call with any ace or PP which could have you beat. Better off looking at a flop and hopefully flopping a monster. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:anybody else having problems with FTP since update? I had a similar problem, but I just exited out of full tilt and went back in. The software installation went on like it was supposed to. I did have an issue with my FTP's ( I know this is not a big deal) but it said I had 200 points for the day and I had not even started playing. This may be an issue also. Re(3): Omaha H/L question with 9-1 to call, this is an easy call. if you flop a set, you just shove or if you flop a low draw or something of that nature. Take the other player's odds out of the situation... Unles they have a monster flop, they can't call. No way I would ever fold this!!!! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): Been thinking about this hand for a couple of weeks . . . HELP PLZ Since you called the flop, you would have to like this hand... AK is a big possibility, but this raise pre would have to signal a large pair. The odds of ben having AA is pretty unlikely tho since you have an ace. Since you are in this spot, I would check raise and pray he cant fold KK, if he has AK or AA, you are screwed... Tough spot late Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): What do YOU do when your connection goes out? I have a few friends that play online and all of them have wireless internet so i will try and get a hold of them real quick. If I cant get a hold of them, I drive to either a mortgage office or some other establishment which has wireless. I drove around one day and checked it out and found about 5 places within one mile of my house, so I will bring my laptop to my car and go. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): Poker/Life balance debate... I am also glad I didn't find poker till I had a steady job and family. I am not near as good as Stam or anything, but I have found a balance in a busy schedule. Sometimes I wish I could be one of those people who play poker all day, but I need to be out of the house more. Poker could be good money now, and a few hundred thousand seems like a bunch to some of these guys, but without balance, it will not work for anyone. One thing I do regret tho is never being able to enjoy the "college life." I always tell someone who has the chance to go ahead and take advantage... for guys like Stam who is ... Re(2): More late tourney hand advise...good players please chime in He may have thought you were stealing, but KJ is not a hand I am calling here with On the flip side, you can't be results oriented. You got in ahead (although not by alot) and that is what you have to worry about. The play is ok Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): DO you EVER fold this hand? If I go broke with this hand, then so be it. There would be no other reason to call the flop if this would be a desired outcome. If this is a fold you would make to a shove, then the flop call was not a good one. I am sure you were planning to steal on the river if he did not bet, but this hand basically cost you some decent money. My opinion of course Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Input needed: Bigger FTP Daily Double I think if the nuy in would be 24+2 at the same time, it would definately be better. Probably same amount of people and bigger prize pools, plus gives small time players ability to sat. in for cheap. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Best Micro SNG on Stars ? I have had some success with the turbo and the regular $1-45 man. I have also built up a bit of a roll with those so I could experiment with some of the larger MTT with 3 dollar or less buy ins. With the turbos, play strong hands early and once 100-200 starts, raise in position with decent hands and push when you can. I try to put myself in situations where you hope to control action and hopefully not be dominated. HAHA. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(10): New deposit option on FTP. Reviewing my e-mail the option is called MyWebATM. I haven't had a chance to look for it, but if it works, it would be great for players who want to transfer money quickly. The e-mail said it acted much like neteller, without the emergency bailout. Here is the e-mail i recieved Dear XXXXXXXXX, We are pleased to announce the addition of MyWebATM, a brand new deposit option which provides a fast and easy method to fund your Full Tilt Poker account using your personal bank account. Once you have funded your MyWebATM account through their secure Web interface, you can access your funds online ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
