In this spot, limping is not the best play. Since you are short with a pretty strong Low draw with suitedes, I would raise pot and hope for the best pre. Hopefully you take the blinds down, but if you get a call, you are still in good position to take at least half. Just my opinion

I have a toshiba sattilite and it runs like a champ everytime I turn it on. My wife has an HP and it has been back with the Geek Squad twice for issues. Plus, Full Tilt doesnt run well on it.

I would not think this is a grat move. In these tourneys people are more than happy to call with any ace or PP which could have you beat. Better off looking at a flop and hopefully flopping a monster.

I had a similar problem, but I just exited out of full tilt and went back in. The software installation went on like it was supposed to. I did have an issue with my FTP's ( I know this is not a big deal) but it said I had 200 points for the day and I had not even started playing. This may be an issue also.

with 9-1 to call, this is an easy call. if you flop a set, you just shove or if you flop a low draw or something of that nature. Take the other player's odds out of the situation... Unles they have a monster flop, they can't call. No way I would ever fold this!!!!

Since you called the flop, you would have to like this hand... AK is a big possibility, but this raise pre would have to signal a large pair. The odds of ben having AA is pretty unlikely tho since you have an ace. Since you are in this spot, I would check raise and pray he cant fold KK, if he has AK or AA, you are screwed... Tough spot late

I have a few friends that play online and all of them have wireless internet so i will try and get a hold of them real quick. If I cant get a hold of them, I drive to either a mortgage office or some other establishment which has wireless. I drove around one day and checked it out and found about 5 places within one mile of my house, so I will bring my laptop to my car and go.

I am also glad I didn't find poker till I had a steady job and family. I am not near as good as Stam or anything, but I have found a balance in a busy schedule. Sometimes I wish I could be one of those people who play poker all day, but I need to be out of the house more. Poker could be good money now, and a few hundred thousand seems like a bunch to some of these guys, but without balance, it will not work for anyone. One thing I do regret tho is never being able to enjoy the "college life." I always tell someone who has the chance to go ahead and take advantage... for guys like Stam who is ...

If I go broke with this hand, then so be it. There would be no other reason to call the flop if this would be a desired outcome. If this is a fold you would make to a shove, then the flop call was not a good one. I am sure you were planning to steal on the river if he did not bet, but this hand basically cost you some decent money. My opinion of course

I think if the nuy in would be 24+2 at the same time, it would definately be better. Probably same amount of people and bigger prize pools, plus gives small time players ability to sat. in for cheap.

I have had some success with the turbo and the regular $1-45 man. I have also built up a bit of a roll with those so I could experiment with some of the larger MTT with 3 dollar or less buy ins. With the turbos, play strong hands early and once 100-200 starts, raise in position with decent hands and push when you can. I try to put myself in situations where you hope to control action and hopefully not be dominated. HAHA.
