Live poker buy in strategy.
depends on the table, I dont mind the 100 buy in if you going to play short stack poker. Most 1/2 usually end up being 1/2/ 20. So with 100 you will have one move. 1/2 not really a thinking mans game lol

Recently got laid off, is trying to become a live pro inadequate?
Can you male a living wage at these levels, I dont think so. Not with having a life out side the casino. I would say 25/ 50. I would have to average 1000 a week profit just to cover bills, insurance , food and fun money. Maybe a partime job and play poker.

Live Cash Games 1/2 & 2/5 tips anyone????
1/2 get on a table with some (2-3) strait degenerate gamblers. You should be playing 1-2- straddle 5-25 to go before you know it. easy game

If online poker is Legalized?
I miss stars and even ftp's double G, but they are gone forever. May take some time but no doubt the US sites will dominate if non us players are allowed to play. Right now I am forced to play merge (hero) I wish they had more players though.
