Re(2): pro poll ridiculous no this is not Jeff he does not really care that much about the rankings anymore doesnt post here and also he plays more cash games than mtts it is a little more profitable if u watch the 25-50 and up NL on stars the past few days u would realize that is true I think long term should matter more of course but I am not really commenting on that at all what i am saying is the PRO POLL is messed up and peoples voting doesnt make sense because they are undervaluing good players who is actually good at poker like the many players I mentioned that is my main point and that the pro poll shouldnt be ... Re(2): pro poll ridiculous i understand that it is surprising and good to know that so many people are doing that but no way it is showing who the best mtt players are now if u ask a serious good player who has played a lot of mtts who is better annette_15 or belowabove, beautiful man or actionjeff gotskillz or mrsmokey1 it is pretty clear cut that actionjeff is far more skilled and successful at mtts than the player above him so is mrsmokey1 so is lucky seven so is shaniac BUT u look at pro poll results people are ranking others above them biases aside how can anyone say with a straight face that half the players in ... pro poll ridiculous umm annette_15 has a huge lead in the TLB but she is not first she is not even top 3 it is just ridic 500 poind margin should be first of course players are underrated like mrsmokey having a really low pro poll yet being an amazing player also KUSH just made rankings congratulations those who have played with him should know he deserves better than 94 on pro poll mr blair is one of the best players he isnt even ranked even though hes eligible ActionJeff of course there is even more ridiculouslness the guy is up like half a million in 2006 in mtts plus crushes cash games in last week he did ... Re(4): Time to start a discussion, key hand from UB 250k srry aawnutz i talked to some poker players who are good they basically blew u out of the water You go ahead and make every correct pot odds decision when you play tournaments and see how your results go. Chase every straight and flush and call every raise from the BB. Cash game poker is all about pot odds. Tournament poker is all about winning the tournament. If you're not at the FT, I'll guarantee you that you are not going to win it. he is wrong I am reading this I am like how can u be this stupid Jeffrey: Chase every straight and flush and call every raise from the BB does he ... Re(2): Time to start a discussion, key hand from UB 250k Re(1): Time to start a discussion, key hand from UB 250k by AawwNutz on 12/4/2006 21:11 Let's look at it from a TECHNICAL perspective: If you assign a range of AA, KK, AKo, and AKs that you might encounter from a good player: YOU ARE AN UNDERDOG!!!!! Your KK cripples the # of AK possibilities giving you a 47% equity in the hand. If your range is AA, KK, QQ, AKo, and AKs: You have a 57% equity in the hand. FAR FROM THE DOMINATING KK HAND THAT SOME PLAYERS ASSUME. I think this is a realistic categorization for most online play, and it produces almost the exact same % as taking TcTd up ... Re(3): Calling with AK at a final table calling is probably plus ev but u dont want to risk losing chips and being on a short stack so you should fold I would just limp preflop, fold if I was raised and if I see the flop try to hit 2 pair or better otherwise get away cheap that is the way to chip up and it is how all of the top players on the pocketfives leaderboard play Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): interesting hand and bad read by me a little easier but not if u 3-bet more preflop anyway u are too worried about SHANIA these calls worked preflop in weaker games like the old stars 10-20 NL but is going to be a loser in the 25-50 i dont think making u little harder to play vs is worth the ev ur sacrificing u should be conservative entering multi way pots 100 bbs deep OOP anyway obviously different story if you are the button that is what CR has taught me thor u dont 3 bet preflop near enougth Posted in: Poker Discussion |
