California stepping up to the plate
i dont know but california is very big in terms of size as well as making up a big part of americas online presence. i think a the site that ends up #1 in california will be able to keep at least 20-40k players during peak hours or is this unreasonable' other states will not be so lucky. gonna be hard going from ps with 100-200k+ to a site that gets less traffic than ub...

Poker Movies Suck
"the grand" was hillarious you must watch it. it has so may big name actors and so many pros making cameos its crazy more people havent watched it. it has woody harrelson, the guy from spinal tap and laverne and shirley, cheryl hines, david cross, and a whole lot of pro cameos like dolly, the brat, unabomber, kid poker. everyone needs to watch this, i have seen it a few times and it cracks me up every time.

what will be the best way to withdraw after june 1st?
wire or checks' i am back after a 1/2 year hiatus and built up a few k on ps this last few weeks and i will probably start withdrawing after a few more thou but june 1st is coming soon and im not sure if wires will be safe..dont want any hassles from bank is check via atm smarter'

ive noticed what the cashout tourneys do is actually just flatten the payout structure. when people hit the ft they immediately get cash using icm this combined with their ft cash ends up with much less curve, kind of like in between a sattelite and cash tourney. of course this is assuming you dont cashout prematurely.

heres what you do....check to the raiser (you had like 2-3 people behind right') someones gonna bet that flop, then potraise. theres a million draws out there if you can isolate 1-2 ppl for an allin that would probably be best.

i havent played em yet but i bet they will be popular, just take some getting used to like the 300s. on the other hand they have a "7game" tounament im playing right now that i dont remember seeing before. its horse with nlhe and plo which means playing limit for 5 rounds then having the ability to double up during nl and pl...kinda cool.

i hope you got a good place to play live bc in a couple months you may find it impossible to cash out off the net. see how you like being a live grinder, and maybe its not too late to finish your last year. if you only play online your whole plan may blow up in your face before it really gets started.

im sick of these withdrawl issues at the sites were playing on now, california needs to open up some intrastate sites ASAP. i think we have enough players to get 20-30k online at a time at a couple sites.

this nails it right here. so in your hypothetical situation you withdrew 500k and will get taxed 750k on the full 1.5 mil. in this scenario you will owe 250k on top of the 500k you withdrew. you have 1 mil on the site but cant get it. what do you do'

well your right your wins-losses = net income. however part of this income may be tied up if you cant withdraw it. you will still be taxed on it bc it is income.
