I didn't mean for it to sound so dramatic. I didn't go to the hospital or anything. Basically, for some reason, I became targeted as a nerd in 8th grade. Like, I really think there were forces that were beyond my control; I went from respected jock to outcast nerd in 2 years when I started taking classes with high schoolers as a 12-year-old. Meh, nothing like my experience. When I was in 7th grade, I had to start taking all of my classes in the high school. I was a 12-year-old kid taking classes with 18-year-olds. I'd make a BASIC program in 1 day (on a 4 day assignment) then play GTA for the rest of the week. Some kid ended up stabbing me, and I left public school in the sticks (I went to a really shitty public high school) to a prep school. I've become a cynical asshole since those days (and, as it turns out, it's been easier for me to get laid as I've become more of an asshole.) I used to be a really nice kid.

I averaged around 14 PPG. I remember after our first game, I missed a bunch of 3 pointers. A bunch of my teammates also missed heaps of 3 pointers that game. The next day at practice, our coach was pissed. He says "can any of you hit 2 out of 10 3 pointers' Any of you'" Everyone looked sheepishly at him. I raised my hand. He was pissed. "Seriously' OK. As it became more known than I was kind of a genius, I became less cool. When I was 11-years-old and hitting .667 in Little League, while playing on a travel basketball team and having a sweet turn-around shot, I was cool. As I became more of a valedictorian candidate, I became less cool. Maybe it's my fault. Or maybe my life-story is a microcosm of why China > America right now.

Haha, I totally missed that. Does anyone remember Highlights Magazine' They used to have two pictures where you have to figure out what the differences are. It feels like I need to find more mistakes in that photo compared to reality. And I haven't thought about Highlights Magazine in years. I wonder if it still exists.

Wow, the Pirates have a 19-year-old kid in A ball, Tyler Glasnow, who had a 13.2 K/9 entering tonight. And he just struck out 12 and walked 2 in 5 innings tonight. I realize no one cares, but the Bucs have several ridiculous breakout prospects this season. Even with Gerrit Cole struggling, we should be in the conversation for the best farm system in baseball right now. Thank God I am not some 24-year-old terminal cancer patient who is about to die. Yea, he sucked his second stint in Pittsburgh. Couldn't hit at all, he was DFAed I think in May or June. Now he's having a strong season. Lyle Overbay also had a strong start for the Yankees, after appearing DOA in Pittsburgh. Fortunately, we FINALLY signed a veteran who is having a great year: Russell Martin.
