ACR MINI OSS HUGE OVERLAYS
Pretty brilliant marketing gimmick iyam. They knew there would be overlays and in fact advertised in their promotional materials as much. In the grand scheme of things, even if they have 50%+ overlay the $ amounts are not that significant and they likely brought in a lot of depositing players that may not have been bothered to do so before and probably drove up their traffic significantly which will undoubtedly spill over into other games.

Tax questions on a Hammond WSOP Charity tourney Package.
it wouldnt be a write-off against your winnings. you would deduct your donation just like any other charitable contribution as an itemized deduction on schedule a. whether or not this ultimately gets deducted from your taxable income would be dependent on your specific circumstances. it would never be a write off against the self employment tax though.

you won't necessarily have 10 that count. everyone will have their top 5 count then the next best 10 scores on your team will count, with a maximum of 10 per person for a total of 25 per team.

Look, it's not up to me or anyone else on whether it's cool to change the rules everyone agreed to when signing up. If you didn't read the thread or voice ur opinion before that's no one else' problem. It just sets a really bad precedent to be changing rules after contests start. I wouldn't have gaf one way or the other beforehand but once it starts, it starts and you can't go around changing rules or letting people think they can. It's just silly. I also know that if it were based on points, or changed to being based on points, it would give my team an even bigger advantage. I don't want ...

HUD Stats For MTT's and playing too many hands.
RFI is identical to the steal% stat mathematically (although steal% by definition is only calculated for the sb, bu and co). It is how often a player open raises from a given position. This is a much more meaningful stat than PFR as PFR does not differentiate between a pot that is unopened, 2, 3 or 4+ bet before it gets to the player. Although I will agree will we have a larger sample of hands for the PFR stat and thus a more accurate number, the stat that it is measuring is much more ambiguous, and thus less meaningful imo, than the RFI stat is (in general).

Merge tournament changes with Lock no longer on the network
It's still there. Pretty sure I read on 2+2 the Carbon rep saying the the schedule/guarantees are remaining as is at least initially.

Revolution Network MTT Schedule
I'm not at all convinced merge guarantees will need to be lowered, or at least not by much at all. I mean, if you are currently on lock, even if ur a random fish, why wouldn't you sign up on another skin, especially when u see the schedule/guarantees on lock are half what they are on merge, where you're already used to playing, used to the software, etc. I just don't think it will have that big of an impact but maybe I'm the fish for not being pessimistic about it.
