Re:100nl tough spot with AQ
raising to the point you commit half your stack at this hand for information is horrible, against a 11/8 opponent a fold is the best and only option.

Re:Spain vs Sweden
1st half was pretty nice, 2nd half was bullshit, because Sweden just f shutdown putting the bus in front of their goalkeeper, playing 45 minutes only with defense in mind. I'm pretty glad that Spain won the match, since Sweden were F losers. GTFO of the Euro.

Re:Warning, I found a scammer online. Not your typical thread please read.
It seems you tried your best then. Well, i honestly don't know how i would handle it, but when we feel really f up, we do things we don't really like to do, but we think we're doing something good. In the end, only he has to feel bad about it, let's hope he learns his lesson, but i doubt it.

Re:Warning, I found a scammer online. Not your typical thread please read.
I understand you feel f up and it isnt really my business commenting it, but i guess when you made it public, anyone can comment. I don't know the guy in question, but obviously he has big issues and im sure he doesnt feel great about it. But you were his friend, and as a friend, you talk to him and sort things out, talk about the problem per se. By going with it in public, you aren't doing any good to him, you're just excluding him out of the public like the vast majority of the people would do. You might as well point out the drug dealers, the kiddie porns and your f up ...

Re:I am very DISAPPOINTED in this community.
i have to agree with the earlier posts here, the fact that there is only one section of poker is ridiculous in terms of organization and organic forum behaviour. I had to start checking 2+2 out for some days to get a real perspective of how disastrous p5 is in terms of organization of the forums. It's like a giant trash can full of worthless threads, one after another.

Re:Cash Players Better Than Tournament Players?....
i already said in the first page of this thread that every variant of poker has his own learning curve. Obviously, the different variants of poker will have many similarities, since it is a game in which math is involved and math is universal. So, players that know one variant of poker and the math and psychology behind it can make a relative easy transition. Most of you say that a cash game player will make an easier transition to tournament then vice versa. That's partially true, imo. Partially because we are talking about GOOD players. Mostly of you guys say that the transition is ...

Re:Cash Players Better Than Tournament Players?....
Is a football player better then a Basketball player' That analogy reflects my opinion about this issue. Tournament and Cash game poker are different variants of poker, each of which needs his own learning curve, and they are both very hard to master. Being a successfull player at any of these variants is extremely hard.

Re:Standard Cash Game Laydown?
I hate the way you played that hand. preflop: raise at least pot size (to 1.50$), you dont want to give good odds never, specially deepstacked with AQo. You mostly want to win the pot without too much action, getting a nice showdown against a passive player. postflop: community board is connected with straight/flush draw poss., you simply cant give away free cards with your holding against 2 villains, you have to bet 99% of the time, for value AND information. Bet it, raise a bet. You mostly want a passive call. Turn, same thing, the turn card isnt scary, bet. You want a passive call here ...

One of the biggest leaks at NL poker: TILT. How do you deal with it? (semi-long)
I've been fixing my leaks, day after day. But there is one leak that is like the Cancer leak, undestroyable, cause even after i acknowledge it, it keeps hammering back, quietly and slowly, i don't hear it coming till... BANG, hits me in the face and i'm 3 buyins down in 2 minutes. I made a retrospective... again (have done it like everytime after tilting), trying to identify the events that happened till i tilted, and the conclusions are the same as always when i end my retrospective: i suffer 2, 3 or even 4 consecutive bad beats, i start berating pokerstars at the chatboxes and ...
