Re:Great college players who were awful in the NBA I thought A.J. Guyton was going to be a superstar in the NBA. Maybe I remember him being better in college than he actually was He was a first team all american in college however. He did absolutely nothing in the NBA and was out after 3 seasons. He would stand out more as a big bust if that 2000 draft class wasn't so terrible all around. I don't know if he was the biggest disappointment in that class, but to go from first team all american in college to being not even a bench player in the NBA four years later is just crazy. Re:Merrry Xmas-Let me Stake YOU-Micro players Probably too late now, but I'll throw my name in the hat. PS screenname Philly Bones. I"m not going to BS you and claim any guaranteed win or anything like that, however if you are just looking to stake someone that plays within his bankroll to minimize chances of going broke then you can consider me. The only +$5 tourneys I"ve ever played are special P5 events. If that disqualifies me so be it. Good luck to you and whomever you pick. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): HERE IS WHY YOU DONT DRIVE DRUNK FWIW someone who kills another person while driving drunk can be charged with murder instead of manslaughter, and this is the legal precedent as to why:Re(5): DWI== Murder'Philly Bones on 10/19/2006 08:44 This article caused me to do a bit of internet research as I was also confused on how this guy can be charged and convicted of murder instead of manslaughter. I found a good thread here that gives what I think is a good explanation as to how this can be. I will bold the most relevant part here: The distinction between murder and manslaughter is somewhat more subtle than the mere presence or ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(4): OT Tourney #19 is now up!!! I'm pretty sure that pokerstars doesn't allow private 5 card draw tournaments or 2-7 triple draw. I don't know why they wouldn't create one of those but as of right now pokerstars doesn't allow it. Posted in: Off Topic |

However, it's just funny & it annoys newman ;-). He sent me a pm with pics of a dead person he had defaced and asked me if I found it funny. I guess he just doesnt get humour. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(1): wtf (filing taxes) This happened to my roommate this year. There's no telling what happened, but what he had to do was take a day off of work, go to the Social Security office wherever the nearest one is to you, and get the birthdate changed. He was there for about 4 or 5 hours. The bonus was that he felt like a king after leaving that place because as he put it, "You can't get much lower than some of the people there with their life stories." My roommate was lucky because he was bullshitting with someone there and when that guys number was called he got to go back there with him and get the birthday problem ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(3): this show freaks me out I meant 16 weeks. She was born at the end of this past November. We are super lucky. She has slept through the night pretty much 90% of the time since about week 11 and since the TV can hold her attention for a bit of time we can get some time in to eat or whatever without having to hold her the whole time (though meals still have to be eaten quickly). The other thing she likes besides occasional TV are ceiling fans. She will stare and smile at them like they're the greatest things in the world. She's just fascinated by them. The only time she's "bad" is when she gets hungry. She'll let the ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(3): Drexel The problem of scheduling needs to be changed somehow. There's no upside for a team in a major conference to schedule teams from mid to low majors. Take Syracuse this year. They were left out of the tournament this year partially because of their out of conference scheduling even though they went 10 - 6 in their conference. I don't know off the top of my head how far in advance scheduling is done, but there's no way you could have predicted that Drexel would have been in the hunt for a tournament bid when scheduling the team before the season started. So a team like Drexel tries to schedule ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(1): this show freaks me out My 16 week old daughter does not care for kids shows for whatever reason. She used to like them about 8 weeks ago, but lately if I try to get her to watch them she will fuss and cry a bit. She seems to only stare at the TV if some kind of non kids show is on. For example, when my parents watched her for a weekend, when they got home the TV was on HBO or something and star wars was on. When walking past the TV it was one of the scenes where there was a bunch of blaster fire or whatever, and she started laughing and smiling like crazy. Just loved the movie. I'm sure this will change as she ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(4): What is your greatest personal Sporting Achievement Ha. I did the same thing junsie. Only you ran it 4 seconds faster. I had a 5:58 and worked damn hard to get to that point. I didn't run track at all (my first sport because I'm not very athletic) till 11th grade year in high school. By senior year I had a 2:28 400m and 5:58 mile neither of which are that good but they're probably my best achievments. My friend in high school ran a 2:02 400m and a 4:44 mile. In college I started to get pretty good at basketball and had a couple of days of shooting better than 90% and just being in the zone in general. Posted in: Off Topic |

If I couldn't handle that I could go to 2+2 OT area where everything is a bannable offense. On that note, GFY junsie, if you don't like the thread then solace is just one away. rocks!
