Another UB Post - Question re Cashouts I know it seems like every 3rd post on here these days is someone complaining about UB. So, if you can't stand seeing another UB post - don't tell me, just move along. Just a little while back, some good peoples were reporting problems with cashouts there. I was thinking of returning to pick up some old bonus $ and would appreciate if anyone could update on that situation. Thanks. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): UB is a great site but......... support is teh sux. one example - i've submitted a simple cashier question 4x through 3 different channels (directly through their site, and via different emails) in the last 4 days, and got nothing, nada, zip for response - som much for response within 24 hrs guanranteed. let's not even get started about when there's a real problem, like when my bonus dollars weren't being converted properly. Re(6): Horse discovers who aprocks is Ok, now I'm basically caught up on the bizarre stream of notions that is horseracing. Someone speculated above that he may have actually started this thread, and may be aprocks. Interesting... It flashed a comparison to me - others have suggested various figures, but I may have nailed it: Horselover Fat of Phillip K Dick's Valis Trilogy. The first of Dick's three final novels (the others are Divine Invasion and The Transmigration of Timothy Archer). Known as science fiction only for lack of a better category, "Valis" takes place in our world and may even be ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): ABSOLUTE POKER OWES ME 10k Okay. I'm vouching for horseracing. I'm a regular player on AP, sit in cash games with the guy, and know from table talk that he beat Seif heads up 2x (his chat is disabled but enough people know and talk about it that i picked it up - at least the first 2 wins). Finally, after all the explanation I think I know what's going on (could have been stated a lot more clearly up front). He won a WSOP seat after beating Seif 2x. Beat him a 3rd time. The 4th x would have meant cash, since he's already got a WSOP seat. Question 1 for horseracing: are you sure that AP would have payed you cash, or are ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): how to multitable ap?? I am a tech noob. I don't even know what my monitor's res. is, even after I tried to check it in the Control Panel when I realized it's probably an issue. So, if I need serious resolution for 4 tables, there's no way to fit 2-3 on crap res....' ANd yes, I'd like to invest in a new system, multiple monitors - but I'd have no clue how to set that bad boy up!! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

how to multitable ap?? Sounds noob, but I don't care. I'd really appreciate tips/pointers. I just can't figure out how to multi AP. On UB, I just use the "miniscreen" function and can work 3 tables fine. Since there is no such function on AP, I have tried re-sizing, but can't get any reasonable setup. In the past, I've tabbed back and forth, but that sux. Is this a problem because I have an older monitor' Or am I missing a trick here' Thanks. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): the greatest video EVER Umm...how about.... Everyone who looks in this thread pays me .50 for saving your 3 minutes 15 seconds. It is well worth the investment. It works out to about .17 per minute of painstaking agony I've just saved you. It's been a pleasure doing business with you. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(3): NOT about Poker, but TOO important for Off topic Thank you jsbyun. I also was able to get a better sense of the whys and wherefores after reading the article. Yes, the defendant's actions are sick and atrocious. Yes, I think that most everyone would agree that he deserves much harsher punishment, regardless of the concerns about treatment. I find it really telling that this has largely been construed - here and elsewhere (it's all over the conservative blogosphere) as the work of a "liberal activist" judge, whose fault is just being entirely too soft on crime and willing to bend the law to meet his own preferences. It ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(2): Simms looked good in first playoff start That would be monstrous. Just might make Bucs preseason NFC favorite. One of them anyways. Simms coming along, Cadillac in 2nd year and healthy, nice D. And yes, Simms need to work on getting those passes up over the line. Posted in: Off Topic |

Simms looked good in first playoff start Seriously. I actually haven't seen much of him this year, but always thought he could be good NFL QB. I was impressed by his performance in a big game. Good arm, good presence, not afraid to take a hit, no real bonehead mistakes. Both Int's were tipped balls. Actually, if they could have got it going on the ground, I think they'd have the win, even after Washington caught the breaks. Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(2): When Somebody Owes You Money Thanks, all. Good stuff. This cracked me up: Sorry bro. I'll pay on Monday. I SWEAR! PS- Don't tell Maggie please. As much as I think those of you who said leave the wife out of it are right, and pretty much needed to hear that, it is basically the ONLY vulnerability (company car in garage, rents home, etc.). The fact is, my own BR got cracked pretty hard recently and the $ he owes would actually make a difference right now. riup!'s suggestion still has a lot of appeal. It just basically boils down to whether I'm willing to be that big of a douche and do something that I would not be ... Posted in: Off Topic |

When Somebody Owes You Money Hey all, Would like gambler's insights into a situation where somebdy (basically, a friend) owes you money and is jerking you around. How far do you go' A little background: This guy owes me about $200. I played his poker account and ran it up. He played it back down. Over and over. Would not have been a big deal - but I busted my ass and could have been doing a lot of other things. Also, I'm pi**ed off that he couldn't follow basic BR management and burned up the bankroll I built in ring and cheap MTT's by playing $50 heads-ups, betting on sports, etc. He never acknowledged that he f*d up ...
