Re:July 9th FTP Update / Patch
Same thing was happening to me with clicking "OK" to update then nothing happening. If you rightclick the FTP icon and click "Run as administrator" this fixes the problem (at least it did for me.)

Re:Who is top five in your pro poll?
Surprised nobody else mentioned Ari, he's a beast. 1. Andy McLeod 2. Gboro 3. Ari 4. Moorman 5. Deeb that being said I rarely get to play with any of these guys as I'm a mid stakes donk.

Probability Prob Bet
I just moved to Las Vegas and my roommate, also a poker player, and I have been making a few prop bets with one another. The latest one came up today: if four players each have a different pocket pair, what percentage of the time does at least one player make a set on the flop. We set the over/under at 45% and I took the over for $200. If someone who is math inclined can just confirm that this is how you'd get the answer: 1 - [36 * 35 * 34] = 0.46089 [44 43 42] I'd appreciate it

Re:Sigh post - How many 55 freezeouts did you play before you binked?
My results are not typical as I ran way above expectation to achieve them. I probably played the nightly 70k like sixty times or so' Not really sure on an exact number, either way, on Christmas I final tabled it and chopped three handed for 9666.67 or something like that and then two weeks later I final tabled it again and chopped three handed, this time for 11k. So two ft's and two three handed chops. luckbox ftw. edit: obviously I've played other 50f on stars and much to my chagrin have not final tabled any of them besides the two that I mentioned above. nonetheless still way ...

Re:Final Table 100 cubed & 75K FTP rail call
Just acknowledge that you made an error and stop trying to justify it. The consensus here is that calling preflop is bad, very capable players have provided detailed reasoning why and you still adamantly cling to anything that justifies your line. Nice job on the two final tables, but seriously just recognize your mistake and move on.

Re:Laptop or Desktop for grinding?
I play muuuuch better when I'm using a desktop compared to when I'm using a laptop. It's probably because when I'm using a laptop I'm more likely to be distracted. So whenever I have a choice I try to use my desktop. Dual 22" monitors is helpful too.

No doubt this guy is a billion times better than me at golf and a million times better than me at poker, not denying this, but the first minute and thirty seconds of this video was incredibly douchey.

Re:is this horrible? semi-deep in nightly 70k
This is far from horrible, it is simply just a cooler. You played it fine, especially given the background information that you provided.

Re:deposit problem on stars.
I would send stars an email explaining the situation and provide them with the new bank account details. Otherwise they will just assume you are degen and make your life much harder when it comes to depositing in the future.

I agree, free money is overrated. I'd rather work at mcdonalds for about 12,000 hours than get six figures for wearing a patch.

Re:sharkscope/opr solution
You realize that most people would actually want this as it would make them appear to be a weaker player and thus would be plus ev for them (in the sense that others are being misled about their skill level). Most of the people complaining about this are saying that they rely on sharkscope to track their own results, well if that's the case I imagine there are a myriad of other programs available to do the same. And fwiw, I think the game online would be better off if nobody could see statistics on anybody else. Stars' bunk argument is that they want to try and simulate the ...

Re:200 Buyin Satellite to WSOP at the Palm Beach Kennel Club!
Hey, thanks for the information. I might play a few of these although the structure at the dogtrack is beyond terrible. I played the 500 "main event" a few months back and the blind levels moved up so quickly there was hardly any play. And the Vanessa Rousso tournament was a total joke. Maybe we can run into dr greenthumb at one of the satellites.

Really' The incompetence of these people is astounding. They offer a 1k tournament which is a pretty big buy in for a Florida tournament and they run it like absolute dogshit. I'm kind of glad I didn't play, although I'm still aggravated about the entire thing. What did you think of the structure' And what's your guestimation of donks to competent players'

Jeff you're entirely right. The double standards stars maintains for their pro players (and friends *cough cough zee justin*) is unfair and bad business.
