He need to call about 9,000 into a 15,000 pot and he was a coin flip. He knew with a 50% chance of winning that the odds were not that bad if he was wrong cuz he would still be left with a stack size comparable to everyone else at the table.... you are right, he gambled, it paid off....I wouldn't have done what he did, but he took a risk..... Oh one more thing....I notice you play alot of $10 and $6....STOP PLAYING THOSE....play smaller fields with bigger buy-in...like the $50 or $25 etc.....you'll find you will do better.... Trust me, I have lost LOTS online...but lately in past 6 months...I find I win on Party Poker because of the smaller fields.....I know Pokerstars tourneys have lots of ppl...but the $50 or $100 tourneys on there have like 300 people....that's a perfect size....trust me.... The only one you kinda played okay was AQ...the rest were horrible. Don't be a donk and donk off ur chips when you are chip leader. let others do it to themselves....not you.... Late in a tourney, you are chip lead, you hang tight tight tight....don't f around....get into the money with a good amount of chips (doesn't have to be chip leader...top 10 is fine) and then you have a shot at the big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
