Matt Vengrin has been around online poker for years, and has contributed a great deal to the P5s forums. He had a big win in Event 9 of the FTOPS in '07 for $210k, as well as 2nd place finishes in the Stars Sunday Million and Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed tournaments for a combined $217,000. He also placed 2nd in the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance for $28k, and took 3rd in the $1k Limit event in the 2007 WCOOP.
In February '09, Matt took down the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Mulligan for $61,600 and followed that up with a 4th place finish in the WCOOP Event #37 ($2,100 PLO 6-max) for $63,400. In September '09, he had a 2nd place finish in the WCOOP Razz event for $38k, placed 5th in the WCOOP Event #42 ($2,100 8-Game) for $29.4k and final-tabled the Stars $100 rebuy for $22,600. One of Matt's largest live tournament scores came in 2008, when he placed 3rd in the WSOP $3k NLHE event for $168k.
In March 2013, Vengrin was part of a three-way chop of the PokerStars Sunday 500 and raked in $65,000. The tournament drew nearly 1,000 players.
