Re(13): Hellmuth vs ShipIt
Phil Helmuth is not one of the top 30 NLHE MTT players like Albert Pujols isn't one of the top 30 baseball players. The guy hardly plays anymore, and when he does, all he does is dominate. Last years TOC, he shows up almost two hours late, against a tough field, and he builds a monster stack that he takes all the way to 3rd place. So far in this WSOP he's been in the hunt in almost every event he's entered. He'll be the most overrated 10 time bracelet winner alive. Haterade not only quenches your thirst better, it tastes better too.

What did I do wrong?
Keep in mind, this is the poker x factor member tourney, it was a $5 buyin, and UB added a $1,000 satelite seat at the WSOP, airfare, and 3 nights hotel for 1st. 2nd place meant nothing to me at all. With all of that said I pretty much knew I was beat when I put in the last 600. Re(4): Greg Raymer's Dutch comments need re-examining.
Satan pwns. I read the link, and maybe I'm a sucker, but I'm rooting for Dutch to make everything right. I don't know if I'd feel as forgiving if it was my money that disappeared. I do have one question: In his interview Dutch mentioned buying the assets from pokerspot, including the software, and that money would go to the players that were owed. He even suggested rakefree not launching until that was done. If rakefree is off the ground, which I think it is, did they not buy the pokerspot assets' Did they buy the assets, but the money not go back to the owed players' I don't think Dutch ...

Re(2): The Fantasy Poker Game
There is a difference between giving an excuse, like say, "We had a server overload...", or "There was a data recognition coding error message..." or some nonsense, and telling the truth. The guy basically came out and said he was too busy smoking hash and banging prositutues to worry about a stinking fantasy site. That's hardly an excuse.

If he stole the money, where is it' That makes no sense. IF he used the customer funds for operating cash, but his company went under anyway, he wouldn't have the money, but WOULD have still stolen it.

If you haven't joined pokerxfactor, you despise money
Joined about three weeks ago, haven't really been playing much, mostly watching the videos. I did do pretty well in the PXF monthly tourney. I started playing a little more this weekend, mainly $4 +.40 180 man sit n' gos, to try to apply what I've been learning on the cheap. My last four: 12th place- Lost 1/3 of my big stack with 77 vs. a button K9 push, then lost with AK vs. AQ 13th place- Lost with AQ vs. 10-10 for the 2nd biggest stack. Out of money- AJ no good vs KQ 1st place- Had 4x the next biggest stack for the entire final table. If you can believe it, I'm not even running good, ...

Re(1): Boredom tilt
Absolutely. I've tried bankroll management exactly twice. It doesn't work for me. #1- I have a good career, so I can deposit as needed. #2- I got bored out of my frickin' mind playing that much poker. #3- If I have money in my poker accounts, it's literally all that I'll do. In the last few months I've come to a place with poker that works for me. I play alot less than I used to, and enjoy it alot more. I've actually been playing the 180 man $4.40 sit n' gos when I feel like playing. They have the same structure as the $150 +12, only I don't get mad when I lose. Now when I do play in a ...

Re(2): 8 Most Troublesome situations
Playing from the big blind, 2 or 3 limpers, SB completes, you check Q9os, K9os stuff like that. Flop comes 2, 6, 9 two suits, you lead out, someone flat calls. Turn is no help for any draws. Basically, marginal hands, out of position, good enough to think you're good, but really no idea where you're at.

Re(2): Should poker trainers have an obligation to make their stats available?
Unless you are being forced to pay for a membership or attend their poker school, no, they shouldn't. If you don't think they're good enough to teach you poker, don't join. I signed up for poker xfactor early this month. I thought I knew it all, and just had to run better before I signed up. I'm still amazed by how much I've learned in just a few weeks. I haven't been playing much at all, because I spend most of the summer on the golf course or on my boat, but I'm really looking foward to my next few MTTs.

Howard Lederer was the big winner at this years WSOP the moment Full Tilt Poker inked the deal with Cardplayer. In addition to being the top guy at Full Tilt, he owns Tiltware, the software company that powers Full Tilt. Entering a $1,500 event, doubling up or busting out early, and counting your $167,009,854 billion, trillion, gazillion dollars pwns.
