Re(1): Vietcong01 Additionally, IMO, i think that sample size leaves more to debate in determining if a player with bad stats may actually be good than determining if a player with good stats may actually be bad. for example, if a good player plays 500 tournies and has been a victim to bad variance, and shows bad ROI, top 3 percentage, etc etc., he is more likely to be a good player than a player with 500 tournaments who has had had numerous HUGE victories, great ROI, Incredible top 3 percentage is of being a bad player. This is partly because to consistently win tournaments, you have to be able to close, and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Vietcong01 jeffbeesdat says: The dude is awfull and he is an angle shooting POS. I have seen him on multiple occasions act like he doesn't understand a word of English until he is clearly in need of something. Mark my words. He will give all his money back and more. Just don't expect it to happen this week. -Jeff does his last paragraph just smell of jealousy and hatred''''' this statement here just prooves just how UNobjective these high stakes MTT players are being.... what on earth does this have to do with anything' Ship happens is one of the most inhumane players ive seen at the tables, calling ... Re(3): Vietcong01 four plus major tournies in a 4-6 month window is what i meant..........obviously what he is doing is working in the current online environment........like i said.......maybe its because noone is adjusting to his style of play.........id like to see what people say after he pulls in another one. Re(3): Vietcong01 say what you will.................and btw , jamie gold is horrible, total difference. any player, bad or good can get lucky in ONE tournament.........but you dont win 4 plus major online tournies without doing something right...........hey, maybe its bc noone has adjusted to it. the odds of winning this many tournies without a winning strategy is astronomical. Re(1): Vietcong01 what ship and others dont realize, is that the beauty of poker is that there is NO CORRECT way to play it! while im not too familiar with his strategy....it is working, and he is producing results. it seems as if a lot of the high stakes MTT pros are jealous of vietcong01 (sctrojans for sure), otherwise you wouldnt be talking about him. If you felt he was so bad, youd just be quiet and let him continue playing and set him up. Based on the hand histories ive seen, i could never play like that, but hey.....he has proven Beyond any doubt that his style is working in the status quo of online ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Proposal - Poker Stars FPPs some dishonest people would attempt to cheat the system if they did this.....pokerstars will NEVER implement this.... as a dishonest person could dump off fpps to a friend needing , say, 10,000 more fpps to get something said friend wants...... fpps are designed to keep you playing, so this will never happen. Re(3): It pains me to do this, but... whats your point' i have a strong opinion on the matter, as i staked out 2 people in vegas (including ricky zeilem, real name is chris, who famously pouted when called by 6 high flush draw in wsop circuit event by kido pham) i gave him 550 bucks for cash game, said hed pay me back, left his money in the hotel) never saw him or the money again. so i feel really strongly about the issue..... however i also feel strongly about aids, among other diseases, as it is classless to wish a disease upon anyone ( i received a PM that this behavior was commonplace and to accept it) ........i am simply ... Re(1): How good/bad did i play these Qs turns out you played them well.........the only thing i think you could have done differently was bump it up more preflop, but then again, you need to get value from your hand.... i actually liked the way you played this hand in this specific spot, out of position. one other way would be to fire out the flop, and then shutdown on turn and river, by check folding or check calling. but the way you played it here, you lost the minimum. Re(1): It pains me to do this, but... those of you telling qquadzilla to "die in a pool of aids", "get herpes" , etc, are really bringing yourself down to his pathetic level.... what qquadzilla did was wrong, he should be banned, but once again......dont stoop down to his level, youre making yourself look bad in the process. by the way qquadzilla, you are really pathetic, i truly dont know how you can look yourself in the mirror, what you did was STEAL $22 from a pocketfiver, and you should be banned.
