I am a public school teacher (that should be enough in its own right...:) that just started my 8th year teaching. I teach HPE and work with children with disabilities (truly rewarding experience). I also work one on one settings during the summer for parks and rec. helping children w/ disabilities (autism, cp, downs, etc.) acquire the life-skills necessary to survive out in the crazy world. Re(3): $3 45-man hand, good time to shove at the level? You thought about folding...yet pushed in''' That is a kamikazee raise brutha imo...Id flat and proceed cautiously w/ position. Others have already shown strength and interest in this pot, AQs is a nice but a trappy hand. You have a 3x raise ug, a call, and 2 overcalls before it gets to you. I would never fold here on the button, way too nitty, but pushing your stack is -ev in this spot imo especially at level 1 of the tourney....I dont mind the JJ call, but the 99 overcall is why this game can be so profitable...:)....g/l Posted in: Poker Discussion |

No, I had just been moved to a new table...37 mins in to be exact..lol I just felt like i had plenty of play left against a weak field/table and possibly not snap calling off my stack could be a reasonable move. I wasn't 100% I had him, I could of been around a 4-1 dog. I sometimes open shove with a set cuz you can get called all day, but I play micro donk tourneys.... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
