Petition for Stars - more Mid Stakes freezeouts! I'd like to see some $22-$33 FO between the $22/12.5K at 13:00 ET and the $27.50/30K at 20:00 ET. Everything $22-$33 in that 7 hour period is either big antes, capped, 6 max, deep stacks, etc. A 7 hour stretch in the afternoon without a normal 22-33 FO just doesn't seem right. Re:Need help with ICM What' I adjusted their calling ranges to get top 10% for +$ev, and top 50% for +Cev. What I'm trying to say is that I'm assuming the most profitable range is somewhere in between 10% and 50%, and I'm hoping someone will explain how to figure it out. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:We want our money back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure tbh, maybe because all the facts aren't out yet. I just know that we need to give the PPA our full support. TheEngineer has done a lot to make it easy for us to voice our opinions to Congress and President Obama, and it's important that we put up strong numbers by telling family and friends how they can help us fight for our cause. Re:We want our money back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I requested a paper check from stars on 6/10 and it's still pending. OP I wouldn't think about having a rally in DC unless the PPA suggested it. This is a delicate situation and a rally could do more harm than good at this point. The best thing we can do is write to congress and tell family and friends to do the same. Re:Play online poker and you will abuse childern! Yeah it's not what you say, it's how many times you say it. This doesn't help our cause at all. People that aren't passionate about poker heard 4 things: poker, gambling, alchoholism and child abuse. Repeat it a few times and people's brains automatically link them together. Sling enough mud and some of it will stick. Just ask Frank Luntz. I don't want to turn this into right vs. left, but that's exactly what I just did, on purpose. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Why I don't want the government to regulate poker Taxes are good. They bring us good things like the creation of the internet, and subsequently online poker. Taxing smokers is a good thing. Nonsmokers live longer(especially with universal healthcare (paid for by taxes)), and subsequently will deposit on poker sites for more years. They can spend all their cigarette money on poker. No matter how you slice it, higher taxes and more regulation lead to more money in the pockets of winning online players. Posted in: Poker Legislation |

Re:PokerStars has changed their policy on datamining, for now... Stars would lose a lot of business by making players aware of OPR. For some reason I never even tried to improve my game until I found out about OPR in chat. Players will only try to get better or quit once they know. It's probably a good idea not to mention P5s or 2p2 in chat either. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
