Re(1): a BB check raise hand
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL POKER! No offense. You raised 2125 to win 580, 150 of which was yours in the BB to begin with, so 2125 for 430 that wasn't yours. Keep playing like that and you'll be broke soon enough. That is about as bad as it gets. HERENDOUS no offense once again. P.S. Yea his call was herendous too with just the gut shot and 2 overs, but your play was WAY worse than his, because you could have mucked and lost 150, which was your BB anyways.

Don't let your ego get the best of you...
While this is true in most situations I just let my ego get the best of me and it paid me $50. While $50 isn't alot too most of you, it is to me a $5-10 SNG player. I was playing a $10 SNG on BoDog and I got down to 150 in chips after my top 2 pair on the flop lost to runner runner for a str8. Needless to say I now have 2600 and I am the CL right now. Anyways the guy who beat me was talking mad shit to me saying this and that ( I knocked him out in 10th btw). I was talking back of course, when he said if your so big play me $50 heads-up. I have $107 in my BoDog acct, $96 after I paid the ...

Re(1): 2 POKER TOPICS for discussion/comment (back to basics)
Flopping a big draw- I switch up with semi-bluffs and check/calls depending on the player at the table, my table image. I agree alot with what you said about semi-bluffinf, but feeling like maybe you lost value in winning the hand before you hit your draw. I think depending on the draw you are on, dictates a semi-bluff or check/call. I love semi-bluffing with straight draws because they are conceiled well and are paid off alot more. I like semi-bluffing with flush draws too, but I switch up between semi-bluffing and check/calling alot more with flush draws. Flopping a set in EP- I love ...

What "tell" do you use most online?...
Since there is pretty much only betting patterns to use online as tells. I have found that the best betting pattern tell is when people bet the EXACT amount to put someone all-in, rather than just betting the max they have. For example: Blinds 150/300 Player 1: 3500 Player 2: 1900 Player 3: 5600 Player 4: 1000 Player 1 makes it 750 to go from the cutoff, Player 2 folds from the button, Player 3 calls from the SB and Player 4 folds from the BB. Player 1 and Player 3 go to the flop. The pot has 1800. Flop: Ah Jd 4c Player 3 bets 2750, betting the EXACT amount Player 1 has left. Player 1 ...

Re(1): Want to know why you should NEVER slowplay online?... read this and find out why
To Askesis saying I should have made a pot sized bet and if I got raised I was in trouble... you are nuts no offense. Like I said I wasn't going to worry about the str8 flush, if he showed me the 6c, then so be it. I am willing to go broke every single time with that hand. If I go all-in on the flop, maybe he folds the str8 flush draw, doubt it, but maybe, maybe not. If I lose a tournament like that every tournament, then I guess I am just going to have to deal with it. No way however would I ever make a pot sized bet, then if I got raised would I think I was in trouble, that just isn't going ...

I just started playing these 90 man SNG's since FTP added them and I wanted to go over the 2 successful ones I played in and see what worked and what didn't work for me, because I plan on playing alot more of these. Re(1): WSOP sat.
FULL TILT NUFF SAID!!! They are giving away 20 seats for free, they are having a $500 satellite where they guarantee 100 seats or 1 seat per 20 or 22 entrants, not sure which and a $1000 satellite, where 1 seat per 10 or 12 entrants again not sure which. All of these tournaments have 1800 max entrants too. So it isn't like Stars where they got 2000-5000 in all their tourneys. FULL TILT OWNS!!!

I love BoDog...
I made a $50 deposit on BoDog, the other day because if you deposit $50, they match $50, so I said what the hell and threw $50 on their. I play primarily $5 SNG's and even though I hate th eblind structure at the end up the SNG's, because they increase WAY to big in increments (150/300 - 250/500 - 400/800), I am having nice success after my 1st 17 SNG's. The players at those stakes are pretty bad I must say. I know these number will be close to impossible to sustain over time, but they are still nice. 17 SNG's $105 buy-ins $61 net won 58% ROI 53% ITM (3-1st, 3-2nd, 3-3rd)

Re(1): I hate when they don't even give you a chance...
I never had a chance to limp, this table didn't allow limping lol. It was a very aggressive table. I wanted to go all-in with the 10 9, A 6, 10 8, K 8 or even the 7 6's, but everytime the pot was already opened for a raise and as we all know, to call a raise you need a stronger hand, than to raise yourself. I never had a chance, I can honestly say that.

How do you win a tournament with these hands'!'!'! My hand from FTP's 16K Guaranteed: 56, 73, A9, 410, J5, K10, 28, Q4, A6, 44, 104, 73, 36, 68, 23, Q3, 57, K9, 43, 53, 32, 73, 108, 94, K3, 84, 83, K6, J6, 52, J2, 85, 25, Q2, K10, 610, 77, 73, A5, 109, 93, 54, 83, 75, A6, 108, 92, K8, 73, 84, 72, 76, 42, 85, 76, I ended up going all-in with A7s the hand b4 the BB (60/120), I had 840 left. This was my 1st big MTT over $20 and I was looking forward to this. What a shame, I never had a chance!

Re(1): I Support JJ. I will never play PP again. So Many Hypocrites!!
I agree with you 100000%!!! I don't care how many accounts he played on, he still won the fucking tournament. He still had to make the right bets, calls, folds, raises, etc, etc, etc. Just because he played on 2 accounts, he still beat out over 2K people and did an amazing job. Like you said, it's not like he could see the hole cards, he still had to play cards and make right decisions. Take is PP account away, that's fine, but if they really did take his 140K back, that is a fucking joke. It is SO hard to win a big Sunday tournament, 2 accounts or not and JJ did it. Leave him be. I am SURE ...
