Podcast: Submit Questions for Lauren Kling (locoenlacabeza) Congratulatins on all your success. In observing your game, I believe you take more flops than is the "average" for current HSMTT online games. Is this a concious adjustment to take advantage of the leaks high volume regulars have on future streets' Also, is this something you can contribute your live results to' If my assumption is not correct then just any thoughts you have on postflop play in tournaments will work... Thank you for taking time to answer these questions! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Wynn Cash Game?..... ( tough spot) RESULTS UP I think the hands being flipped is being resulted oriented here. In poker, in general you make the play that is going to make you the most money in the long run. If you are almost NEVER folding this I suppose you did perfect and had a great read on the hand, but honestly (giving you the best advice I know) I think it is a shove. I don't see them showing up here with sets enough to make this fold profitable. Don't know how to make it sound any less miserable. You are right about something... this hand is very interesting considering a dude got 2 sets to fold on a draw heavy board in a ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Looks like I'm done with online poker I will throw my sob story into the mix as well, not trying to steal thread just figured since it was exact same topic no reason to make another useless post. This may take a bit so sorry in advance. Woke up this morning and answered a few e-mails, one from stars about a transfer (they do these for large transfer usually 4-5k or so) asking me to verify some information about my transfer, well I had a transfer of this amount yesterday I had sent so I just assumed it was talking about this one. I answered it no problem. I then ran some errans etc, came back and decide to donk around in a few ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Wynn Cash Game?..... ( tough spot) Now imagine if you shove, donkey calls and asian mucks. You posted here looking for opinions/advice, I say shove here unless you have thousands and thousands of hands with a great player, not 45 minutes at a 2/5 game w/ a "tight asian." Re:Wynn Cash Game?..... ( tough spot) I honestly didn't read all the responses just some my rush street, but I honestly never muck this here. I see too many "tight" players show up w/ AA, KK here. I mean, his 4th bet pre (especially live game) usually means AA...so a thinking "tight asian" could presumably flat here w/ AA, KK and I have not met one "tight asian" in a 2/5 game that is going to muck AA post flop to 2 bets. I really don't understanding sitting so deep if your not putting your money in here, you have a set on a draw heavy board, shove. He obviously had TT here and you are looking ... Re:Question to Full Time Poker Professionals?? I take a very conservative approach when it comes to cashing out. I make sure I have enough money in immediate access that paying bills for 3-4 months (mortgage/insurance/cc/car payment) is no problem at anytime. And in a time and age where money is becoming harder to move around in internet poker I believe this is essential. On numerous occasions I have had 5k+ checks bounce from poker sites and the thought of being behind on my payments and ruining credit that I need so desperately bad b/c i don't have a sustained income is not a choice. Playing this game as your only income and ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Cash Game Players....table selection? I am not the biggest PT guy, nor have the ability to be too picky in some of my games, but in general (if possible) i like to sit directly, or as close to, the left of the person I want to be able to exploit the most. Advice at that level, create a fish list of a bunch of donators, search them and find even easier money than is normal for this level. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:playing against idiots (any top players plz respond) I think you answered you own question in how to combat it. Lessen you bluff freguency. The limits I believe you are describing is issentially what poker was 2-3 yrs ago. People are very weak preflop (and when they do try and defend that go about it in the wrong way with calls and unprofitable shoves). Chips are so easy to pick up preflop in these things that spewing post is just horrible. Many lower limit player don't see board texture, position, or what a scare card is. Essentially don't out think yourself and plz dont get tricky Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Action Jeff gets slowrolled by Ram Vaswani and Dan Shak says Annette sucks I was at that tbl when Ram slowrolled Jeff. It was not the most horrendous slowroll ever and I don't even know how intinal it was. There was about 10 seconds edited and more than the time elapsing, was his action of rechecking his cards (understandable), grabbed a stack of chips, fumbled with them and then a "i guess i have to call." Anyways, i suppose karma was there that day b/c after that hand Ram folded the rest of the evening getting run over and busted about 2 hours later without hardly saying a word.
