Re(4): PLO hand - cooler or foldable ?
The turn is the crucial decision. If you choose to call the turn you're hoping to boat up, and once you do you're commited to seeing a showdown. ul

"Maybe a way to play tournament poker is everybody buys in for 10k and you can get up and leave anytime, No rebuys. If you want to keep playing you can but no rebuy's. Re(5): comprehensive list of betting patterns
Limo Wreck said it best The reason there is no comprehensive list is because anybody who followed it to the letter would probably go broke pretty quick If poker were that predictable we'd all be rich To get a good read you need to distinguish patterns in each individual person's play, not just patterns in how the poker community in general would play it.

Re(3): Is your doomswitch on?
Nice copy/paste that has no relevance to my post whatsoever. I challenge you to find a single sentence that you consider to be "incoherent", if you can find one I'll have to conclude that you need to brush up on your reading skills. You may not agree with me, but if you actually read it all you'd realise that every thought is rational and based on logical assumptions. Just because you're incapable of articulating a relevant response, you copy and paste one that you find amusing. The only thing that's funny is your unquestioning loyalty to the poker sites and your assumption that their RNG ...

Wondered when somebody was gonna make a post about Dao/the slowroll of the century I'm still smiling. That guy is the biggest douche in poker history When exitonly shoved and Dao typed "somebody call" I couldn't believe it. The guy's commented on hands in progress a couple times now, no class *edit* I almost forgot, even more classless, if he gets involved in a hand he flat out refuses to fold, as if it hurts his pride, and he just times out instead Is anybody else annoyed that this idiot is up $90k and it's all from 1 day where he obv ran like god' Before december 30th the guy was buying ...

"I'm a perfectly competent O8 player. I'm not angry, I won the pot, as ill advised I was in it in the first place. Losing half my stack in an hour meant I wanted to get it back or go out. " So you're at a table where you're guarenteed to get value for your good hands, yet losing some chips sends you on insta-monkey tilt and you decide to raise trash into calling stations from UTG... Perfectly competant IMO And the fact that people chase to the death in limit O8 isn't news to anybody, and is all the more reason to play premium hands that play well in multiway pots lmao at you flaming ppl for ...

Re(4): New look at running bad and variance
I was trying to give the guy a bit of positive feedback instead of being an asshole There are some pretty motivational paragraphs in there, OP's obviously a positive, confident guy who's only intention in writing this quite lengthy article was to help people going through hard times to adjust their mindset and re-attain a winner's attitude. Obv I was joking about coming back to reread it while playing "eye of the tiger" You don't have to agree with it all, I don't, but look past the typos and grammatical errors and appreciate OP's intentions

Re(3): Standard play/Dumb play?
standard shove nowapowa - I think you have his raising range right, but I think his calling range is a little tighter. Calling his shove with A9s or JTs would be pretty loose, given the stack sizes it's not a gamble he has to make. Dex - seriously I hope you realise what a troll/horrible person you come across as. I just scrolled through your recent posts to find your most recent positive contribution to this site, and after about 40 posts worth of drivel I just gave up. Re(1): Is your doomswitch on?
My doomswitch is on like a bitch. I've almost had to completely say bye bye to my bankroll which a couple of weeks ago was at around $1200. See my "Omaha is the devil" thread in the bad beats section to see some details. Basically I've got my money in good or with the nuts more times than I can count, but every time all the money gets in the pot, if they have an out they hit it. Note that all the hands in the "Omaha is the devil" thread were just from a few days of play, and they're just the ones that REALLY pissed me off, I started that thread the day after I had the worst downswing day of ...

Re(3): MTT Cash rate = 20%... but no Take Downs... Advice plz.
Build up the multitabling gradually. Everybody can play their A game with 1 table, you'll always pick up better reads on specific players and the table dynamics as a whole. Then 2 table until you feel you can bring your A game and get used to it to the point where you can make the same reads as you would on 1 table. Then try 3 and work your way up. You want to reach the point where you're completely fearless in each individual mtt, knowing that losing a single buyin is nothing in the long run, and the only way that single mtt could make the slightest difference long term is if you make the ...

Re(2): worst hand of poker ever played
1st hand- what are you thinking' You HAVE to raise it up preflop here. 2 limpers and you check the BB' Get some money in the pot while you know you have the best hand, otherwise you're only ever getting into a big pot here when you're beat. Don't fall in love with AA and assume it's an insta-doubleup. Limper from mid pos and sb completing both have huge ranges, raising may give away your hand strength more than checking, but it also helps you to define their strength now and on later streets. Not raising pre puts you on the back foot from the start 2nd hand- not played particularly badly, ...
