such bull
The home game i play at officially blows. I'm so tired of being treated like shit cause i'm young and play poker well. Since my name is Jared they call me "Subway" and laugh everytime thinking its the most clever thing they've ever come up with. I constantly remind them that my name is Jared!!! Tonight was especially horrible. After about an hour of winning a few small pots and getting shit the way i pick up on the button. There are 4 limpers (they love to limp) and i bump it to 25. Utg limper calls and the rest fold. The flop is . He bets 15 (into about a $60 pot) and i raise it to 45. He ...

Re(2): easy preflop fold?
the only problem w/ playing this hand period is the fact that you do have to hit the flop relatively hard to feel comfortable (2 pair/ 1 pair w/ flush draw). Say the flop is . you can either bet out. but if you get raised what do you do' you can check call but you dont get any info like that. I think it's an easy fold if you have AQ and you're first to act after the flop.

Re(12): 20$ 180 man
just some food for thought... If you had a 200$ team event and hold it in a couple of months there could easily be 10k in the total prize pool allowing for a nice 1st place total (maybe dividing w/ up to 4 or 5 total payouts). It might also give people with less of a bankroll a chance to compete amongst the big names and get a little more involved in the pocketfives community. On the other hand it would give the big names a little more "dead money" in the pool allowing for a better chance of placing 1st.
