Re:This guy swears this was a good call... I'm not understanding this. I have a 25% ROI in this particular game... I'm constantly trying new things to get a feel for different types of play and how they work out in the $26 45-mans on FTP. I'm completely fine with a negative response. That's why I posted. I've gotten the info I was looking for. For you to tell me what I'm doing is wrong... THAT is what is quite arrogant. To say that I have not put up significant results is completely dependent on the person. I think I have put up fine results. As far as me saying "I do well in these games," (something ... Re:This guy swears this was a good call... Come on now, I said that I appreciated everyone's responses and I meant that. I don't claim to know the game better then anyone who replied, except maybe the guy who insinuated that I don't understand the game yet. I was surprised to see the responses come out this way, yes. Maybe it is more of me having a misunderstanding of how people see my range. And when I say that I still believe this is "way -EV" that is simply based on calling vs. my actual range, not what other players might expect my range to be. As for JJ, I'm never in this situation w/ JJ here because ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:This guy swears this was a good call... I suppose everyone is calling here then... I'm folding Jacks or worse if I'm him. I asked for your opinions and received, so, thank you for that. I personally don't like getting in dominated vs. a 3-bet. If I open shove a hand like this from this position and end up dominated then so be it. My range IS tight for 3-betting vs. another player who could cripple me, atleast when he's raising from OOP. But those are the hands I'm 3-betting all-in with here... I've got 4 people left to act in front of me and I have no need to gamble in my situation here. Also, as far as ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

This guy swears this was a good call... I'm a tight played unless I'm short stacked. I had 4 people left to act in front of me. It's a 45 man on FTP where the top 6 get paid. To give you an idea, with him raising and 4 people left to act, I easily fold AQ here. He's up against AK, KK, QQ, here... maaaybe depending on my mood AA or JJ. I told him that I'd post it here and let him know what everybody said. Thanks for taking the time to take a look. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Is this a bad play??? Obv, I was hoping for a fold but REALLY just hoping he doesn't have AA. If he calls and I hit then I'm in 5th place with 100 players left. The play in this tourney was fairly weak so I probably didn't need to be making these kinds of big plays for all of my chips. Re:Livin' Large! I swear to God... How do assholes like efface not get lifetime bans''' I'd say go with Cake. If you're planning to use a credit or debit card from the US then it's more likely to be accepted by Cake. I was going to have to use Western Union to deposit onto UB because my card wouldn't take... no problem on Cake though. Your best option would be to work the $4.00 into a couple of grand and then stick with UB. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Easiest way to clear UB first time bonus? I've been saying that I'm going to get on UB for about a half year now and I guess I'll finally go though with it. In the past I've always cleared bonuses by playing .5/1 buying in short and 6-8 tabling. It was never a problem getting through them in a reasonable amount of time on FTP and Cake, does anybody know if UB is going to be around the same effort''' I think I remember seeing somewhere that they're a little tougher to clear. Re:Anybody put in lots of volume in FTP's $11 90-man KO's? If so... I'm certainly not following this kind of BR management so far with these. Anybody put in lots of volume in FTP's $11 90-man KO's? If so... What's a realistic avg ROI for these things' I messed around with 25 of them, super small sample I know, and came out @ 89% after finishing with 0 cashes in my last 13. I ran really good early and was payed back for that by running really bad late. The play was beyond terrible. Is this a realistic expectation for these tourneys' Less' More' I'm figuring ROI including KO's. The KO's seem like they'll probably come at about 1.5-1.8 per tourney. Thanks for any input.
