1K MET being cancelled and forced to chop 3 handed
Everything FTP does is all about the rake.... METs, rush, rush/METs, and doing the server maintenance Tuesday mornings when they have the least amount of players online even if a major final table is underway. They don't give a damn about the players... they make that clear. I wonder if FTP would have put off the maintenance if Allen Cunningham was in the final 3 instead of going out in 35th' Last thing, the "rule" that they have in place is a built in angle shoot for the short stack if it calls for an even chop if no deal is reached. Mortgage Interest Rates
4.25 on a 30 yr fixed is a great rate. Mordan- you would refi to cut years off of your current mortgage, lower your current interest rate or lower your monthly payment (hopefully all of those reasons). It's all about how much it will save you to refi vs how much it will cost you.

DJK & Sowers would make sense to me. I read something when Doyle first announced it that he was looking for the best young online players, but they had to carry themselves a certain way at the tables. Both of those guys have a good image and can obviously play.

I think you played hand #2 the right way. You are still in low blind play in a low buy in sng, so you have a lot of bad players who will be giving you chips in better spots later on, so don't bust w/ mid pair. You are also going to be raised after your limp a large portion of the time, so by limping you are actually controlling the pot size & can then decide after the raise if you should call or not. If all you get is callers then you got to see a cheap flop, which is what you want. With a flop texture like that against one opponent I probably would have shoved to end the hand right ...

I emailed accountinfo@ a two sentence email that said I enjoyed the site and was interested in getting rb. I received a return email the next day that they don't offer rb directly to their customers, but they would forward my player info to their business partner and they would contact me. The next day I received an email from rakebackpros with a link. The link took me to a sign up page that took a minute to fill out. I received an email a couple of hours later that I was approved for rb. To answer your question, I don't know what made me eligible and they didn't tell me. Hope ...

I never asked Full Tilt for rakeback b/c I had read so many posts from players who were turned down, but I decided to email FTP support and give it a shot. Long story short, I got 27% rb and it was pretty simple, so it's worth sending them an email if you haven't tried before. I don't want anyone else to miss out if they are eligible.

It's from Harrington on Hold Em. It is your stack size divided by the sb + bb. Ex. Blinds are 150/300 & your stack is 1000. M= 2.22 You should read the books.

It's not exactly back to the drawing board b/c even after you invest $8.80 into the Token game you would profit $8.20 for a 9 man win and $21.70 on an 18 man win. So, your BR is still increasing regardless if you cash in the other two games or not. It's basically risking $8.80 of a win for a shot at $410.

Is this a good strategy to build a BR?
I've been playing on Full Tilt for a year and primarily play $5 SNGs (9 & 18 man) b/c of time constraints (family/job). My bankroll is increasing, but b/c of the games I play I don't get that big score that you can get from MTTs. Here is what I am planning on doing and I'd like your feedback: Continue playing my $5 9/18 SNGs and each time I win one I will play a $8.80 18 man $26 Token game. 1st-5th get a $26 Token and 6th gets $14. I've played several of them and they seem pretty soft. If I don't win a token I play another $5 SNG until I win and do it again. If I win ...

The point is that the tournament is going to suffer b/c of the way it has been handled. I read on another site that as many as 1000 people were turned away. They should have assigned starting days.
