is FT down?
Having problems today as well. It wasn't working earlier this afternoon, then I got in for a bit and played but now I can't connect again. The website itself won't load for me either.

Its good for me now. No connection problems at all. No one at the tables getting disconnected either. Up a nice chuck too :D

I finished 28th (Suited-Hooks on PS). That was a lot of fun, it's the deepest I've been in the Million. Still disappointing not to get deeper once you've gotten that far though.

You need to learn to control it with experience. I don't tilt anymore, at all.. I used to once in a while. After a while though you go through enough ups and downs that you realize it's a normal thing in poker.

UB cash players seem pretty bad. There's a decent volume of tables at the lower stakes too. I haven't played a huge number of diff sites though, but that's my experience.

I like this idea. I don't like cashing for 25% more than the buyin itself. I think if I get something in a tournament, it should be substantial. But as a previous poster said, it might not work for very large fields. But a FT only payout of a field with <300 would be pretty cool.

Try running it as administrator too by right clicking the shortcut, going to properties and then clicking on Advanced under the Shortcut tab. Might not fix it, but it'll help. It'll also allow FTP to write the hand history logs as it normally wouldn't have permission to I don't believe.

Races suck. Unless you win a bunch in a row in the same tourney. Seriously though, they are a part of MTTs and just some of the luck factor on any given day. You made a good call with the 55 since you were a slight favourite and getting a good price once you already raised.. but sometimes you just need to get lucky and have those hands hold up.

keep in mind having UAC off does lower your systems security. If you keep it off, I'd reccomend backing up your system often and make sure you have an anti-virus program. You should do this anyways but even more so with security features like UAC turned off..

Last year I was in Vegas for about 3 weeks and stayed at Caesars and the Rio. It was either one king or two doubles. The rooms at Caesars were obviously nicer, but smaller. There were also like 3x as much, 4x or 5x as much on weekends. I was surprised how nice the Rio rooms were for the cost. It's a little off the strip which explains it, but since the WSOP is held there, it makes the most sense. The rooms are really big and comfortable. The service was good too. I'd reccomend booking at the Rio, but you can also consider staying a few nights somewhere else at some point of your trip just to ...
