FTP sign up question About 2 years ago I downloaded FTP and opened an account. I never did make a deposit and play there but I would like to now. My mistake was that I didn't do it through and affiliate program (would like to take advantage of rake bonuses) Can I sign up for a new account there and start over through an affiliate' (I've moved to another address since the original sign up) thx Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): AP to Admit System Was Compromised The amount of $ at stake here for AP is astronomical. They'll need to single someone out with all this heat on their doorstep if they have any hope of not going under. The blanket denial statements (as patronizing as they were) were just to buy them some time while they figured out who there were gonna let fry for this. 3rd party investigations are gonna "find" what they want them to find but they now realize that someone actually has to fry (if they didn't from the get go). Re(12): Playing poker differently Lol psychology is super vague as is playing differently. Might not be what ya wanna hear but there is no way to pinpoint what a player who is playing "differently" does. Like another poster said you'll have to ask the man himself if you expect to get a beat on what he's doin. As creative as poker can get, it's not artwork. It still comes down to clicking your mouse on one of a few buttons. You're asking for the Caramilk secret here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(9): Playing poker differently A better question might be how has the game evolved up to this point. Some top pros would be able to answer that in detail. No one can really say where the game is going. You'll probably have to ask Vietcong himself to get the answers you're lookin for. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): A Difference of Opinion Regarding Playing on AP... If you're a good player shouldn't you be able to win on another site' There is a big difference in the multi accounting situations that were DEALT with on other sites and the situation at AP where management is screwing the players out of $ and lying about doing so. "Pay the bills" on a site that you know to have integrity. IMO it's in the best interest for all players and online poker in general. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Playing poker differently You kind of answered your own question in a way. Different can be good (and profitable). Players that have a great understanding of the fundamentals know when they can take calculated risks. There is a big difference between that and a player who is just pure reckless. (Long term profitablility depends on solid fundamentals) There is no magic formula but as one gains experience as all great mtt players do, you learn when to pick your spots. Laggy players are always going to win their share of mtts. My 2 cents Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Bodog: No Cdn's Allowed Here is a more detailed explanation I pulled off a website: The reason for this is the same reason why Neteller and several other e-wallet companies shut down to Canadian residents as well. These companies all have one thing in common: they all have their main offices based in Canada. Bodog has their offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Neteller has their main corporate offices in Calgary, Alberta (regardless of what they want you to believe.) So if there isn't any anti-gaming legislation in Canada, why should they care' This is a pre-emptive move by these companies. Canada, like ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Ok, you guys inspired me to do this....... below, I would first be most concerned about your physical health and well being. Your mental state is more strongly related to your physical state than you may realize. Solutions : Fitness + Diet Go see a nutritionist and get a better diet plan set up. Analyzing what you currently eat and them telling you what to cut out will make a big difference in the way you feel. Either get a personal trainer or even better, take some type of fitness class which allows you to be social and meet new people. I was in your boat a little while back and joined a self defense class and I'm so happy I did! ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Niagara Falls The 1/2 nl as mentioned is quite soft - playing strong hands aggressively will make you money but you won't be bluffing too many clowns out of pots. I haven't been to the steak house in the casino there but the buffet on the same floor with the seafood is really good! Make sure you put your name on the list go eat and then come back. Have fun - The Falls is a great spot! Posted in: Poker Discussion |
