Re:Shark Scope Stats Play a few thousand more games. 154 games is such a tiny sample, and most of the profit seems to be from a dingle heater. (yes I see my typo, I thought it too funny to correct though) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Sick runs?? May 2007, I go from having 1$ something in my account to having + 6,000$ by the next day. Won a 1$ 45 seater, played a bunch of 5$ 27 & 45 seaters, won and cashed in some of them, played some 10$ sngs, had the account up to 200-300ish by day's end. Then I win the 8$ rebuy next day for 5800$ (only in for the minimum 24.80). Before OPR changed how detailed you can look up old results, I would enjoy finding that spot on the page, looking at the 1$ games and then the big $5843 score there the next day. Good luck! How secure is your password? Check this great wikipedia article. After having strayed into this eye opening and informative wikipedia entry, I have finally gotten around to changing my weak stars password. You should too. And your e-mail and online banking passwords. And make sure they're all different! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

rivermanl - 2nd in PLB yet 53rd overall? I was giving the rankings a quick scan, and noticed that the 2nd place spot in the PLB was not on the front page. It took a bit of digging to finally find it! I suppose this score is weighted with the pro poll, but, I still thought it was quite the difference. Am I missing something here' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:what is better, 45 man sng's or 18 man sng's? FWIW, I love them both equally. I usually register for 4 of each at a time, and keep registering for new ones as soon as i bust/finish. Sometimes I will throw a 27 seater into the mix for variety, but i often prefer not to because you can't get those in turbos. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:45 man turbo guide: please criticize this Interesting read. You seem to have a good grip on the fundamentals. I play a lot of the 27$ 45 seaters, and I do pretty much what you seem to do and it works well enough for me there. The skill level of the players there is not all that much better than the ones lower -- there are donks everywhere waiting to stack off. Good luck at the tables. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:moneymaker kicking some ass lately? I like Moneymaker. Think he's a good guy, and a decent poker player. Was quite pleased to see him FT the 10K WCOOP event - that's a tough field if there ever was one. Then he goes and wins the 100$ rebuy the other day. C'moff it haters - guy ain't a fluke, he can play poker. (He's got a 2nd place in a WPT under his belt, by the way, for those of you who didn't know) As a human being, Ive read about his involvment in a few specific human interest cases. Most recently, the young fella I'm sure most of you have learned about if youve been watching ESPN. And as an ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:All the overlays on stars today. Looks like it from the lobby, but once you include the rake they actually made a profit on the million. 215$ x 7133 = $1,533,595 they hauled in, for a profit of $33,595 Posted in: Poker Discussion |

All the overlays on stars today. I couldn't help but notice all the overlays on the big tournies on stars today, so, being half bored, I figured I'd add a few of them up and see how much they ended up paying out to honor their guarantess. Sunday Warm-Up $750,000 - ($215 x 3328) = $34,480 Sunday 500 $500,000 - ($530 x 900) = $23,000 Second Chance $300,000 - ($215 x 1235) = $34,475 200$ Rebuy $250,000 - ($215 x 299) - ($200 x 679) = $49,915 ___________ $141,870 Decent chunk of change to be paying out. Yes, I'm sure they can afford it. Still a pretty penny, though. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
