Online poker as we know it is over.
I've only played on two occasions since Black Friday but my observations so far..... Stars has been far less affected by the US shutdown than FTP, there were always far more Euro/Asian/Brazilian players on Stars than FTP before the SHTF and that has meant that tourneys like the DNG at prime Euro time have hardly been affected in terms of prize pools. Fields as a result of the US players exclusion are definitely softer. FTP are going to have to go on a big Euro player recruitment drive - guarantees are down 50-60% in general while Stars are hitting the same sort of levels as previously ...

What a good sng roi?
I stopped playin SnGs 2 years ago as i noticed how tough they were getting. Used to have a 12-15% ROI on Stars 9 man ($30-$60) but dropped to 5%. In answer to your question, these days a ROI of 5-10% is considered 'good'.

What is your "ITM%" ?
Stars ITM 16% (60% ROI) Tilt ITM 12% (28% ROI) Amazed I'm still in profit on Tilt tbh...run like a one legged sloth on there since the end of 2008.

Petition to stop FTP from ruining Double guarantee's week
I seem to recall a thread here on P5s a while back which basically was a plea for Multi Entry MTTs. I think it was pretty well received as well' Wouldn't be at all surprised if that thread wasn't the inspiration for this abortion of an idea.

early position,,,,AK, what do you normally do?
It really does depend on a lot of factors as to how AK is played, stack sizes, position, action would be the big ones. Early in an MTT I won't invest too much with the hand particularly if I'm OOP. I'll raise with it of course and may or may not 3 bet with it depending on those factors above and my opponents. Late in a tourney with 25 BBs or less I'm looking to get it in there a lot of the time. Give us a little more detail on how you've been playing it, perhaps then you'll get more detailed and relevant responses.

I think it's definitely better to play QQ a little softer early on if you find yourself on the end of a 3 bet without reads....a call and evaluate on the flop. The hands most likely to be reraising you are AA, KK or AK.
