Re(2): Adderall (mainly for college students)
this thread sounded great to me and I was just about to order some to try it out... then people started comparing it to coke. Um, no thanks.

Re(3): JJProdigy is 16
You know, I kinda felt bad for the kid after reading about all thats been going on with him throughout this whole ordeal and people saying how torn he is. That was until I found out this kid is a f*cking racist. I have absoltuely NO sympathy for a racist, whatsoever because that's just inexcusable in my mind. Think it's funny to make fun of a group of people who were enslaved and brutalized for many years in this country' That shit's funny to him' I hope the kid gets hit by a f*cking bus and loses alot more than his poker bankroll. Before finding out he was into this white power BS I was ...

Re(6): JJProdigy is 16
Anyone who doesn't find this to be enough proof is f*cking retarded and just probably embarassed that they've spent this whole time worshipping a 16yo kid. It was someone that I know who originally told me this kids age but when i first mentioned it people said "you have no proof, thats nonsense". Now it turns out that some people have done the research and found the proof. This page has been created long before this whole debacle and those pictures on his page completely match the same pesron whose picture was on pokerstars for being TLB and also the same one in the interview. OFCOURSE he's ...

Re(1): Reconsidering poker...
i havent read any of the other replies but ill throw an idea out there.... maybe you just arent as good as you think you are. online since you see so many hands so quickly, the reality catches up to you alot faster than you think... winning 10 live tournies over the course of 5 months is nothing more than 5 tournies online which can be done in 1-2 days. Just some honesty.

Re(3): Top online players annual income
"5/10nl - 60-80k 10/20nl 80-120k 25/50 100-300k anything above that.. i have no clue." There's no way this is true, I made more than what you say a regular grinder at 5/10 NL makes my first year and I started off with $50. No way in hell they can only make 60-80k in a year. That can be made in a few months. I know players who have done it.

They state specifically on their page that staking refers to money that is expected to be paid back with interest.

Re(2): PocketFives Partners in a Player Backing Fund
All good questions. But what i'm not understanding is, why on earth would anyone want to be "staked" (loaned) money, so they can play bigger tournies. If loans are something you have to pay back, and you already have the money to buy in yourself, what the hell is the benefit of taking out a loan with interest, that you'll have to pay back' Gee so you're going to give me $7000 to play tournies, thanks... ok so I have 7000 too that I coulda used but thanks for the loan, i'll pay you back with interest. Let me write you a check for the 7000 thats already sitting in my bank account, along with ...

He was trying to resteal guys.... surely you've done this before. Personally I don't see anything wrong with it if he had a read and thought it would take it down, it forces the guy to have a strong hand to call with. Alot of good players do this.... remember john juanda final table wsop 2004' reraise all in with 8/4 I believe' He's not pushing because he thinks its good, he's pushing because he thinks his fold equity + live cards is +EV

"Is it just me or did Daniel actually play insanely well compared to anyone else they showed in either heat 1 or 2' Jesus, he didn't screw up once! I think literally any of the 5,600 others woulda lost several times over in his spot. I have new respect for him. I used to think he knew how to build chips well, but also knew how to LOSE them just as fast. I guess I was wrong, there IS a difference between Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu. New ranking of top 3 nl tourney players in the world: Dan Harrington, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey. (I used to have Daniel and Phil switched)." How hard do you ...

after all that i was reading on the forums about how much he was losing I decided to watch for myself and was surprised to see thath e was actually winning. I saw him play like 15 and he definitely won more than he lost. Was interesting to see him just win one and load up another against the same person...

Re(2): Gaming And POker.
Gamers just seem to do really well at internet poker in general because of their competitiveness and compulsiveness at times. Gamers (especially MMORPG ones) are used to sitting on their ass in front of the comp for long periods of time. Alot of professional RTS (bw/wc3) gamers became professional poker players with alot of success. And i mean alot of them. Personally I played starcraft, counterstrike, EQ, WoW, and warcraft 3.
