I feel the better way to go about it is 5-tabling the $10+1 SNG's. I think if you 5-table them, then you don't put yourself under that much stress and have things beeping and flashing at you like you would if you 10-tabled. And, if you multi-table the 10+1, you only have to play about 12-14 hours a day rather than the 18-20 hour a day you would have to grind out MTT the $2 and $3 super turbos. I know you are looking for fast money, but ultimately better play and concentration and studying your opponents is more practical and cost-effective than thinking you are going to win $60 a day ...

I have money in two -- Pokerstas is my main one while Full Tilt is my secondary one. Not usually, but Pokerstars is known to go down and when it is and I want to play, Full Tilt is where I go. I do highly recommend pokerstars, though. Erik

On Tilt Please Help
I am thinking of giving up poker totally. Here were my last three bad-beats (well, one of them was a good play by another player), but this is crazy: I have AJ. I get called by A9. Flop is A J 9 Turn is 3 River is 9 The only reason I feel angry about this one is that I only saw 7 hands in 112. I was catching such cold cards. I had more 6's and 7's than an R. Kelly sex video. I finish 5th. Right out of the money 18-player SNG for $20. I have KK. I get put all-in by 55 Flop is 2 3 9 Turn is 4 River is 6 Of all things to get beat by with kings, a straight does me in. Poker Books and Improved Play
Hi, I haven't been here in awhile. I love to play poker but not necessarily read about it. Being the stubborn person I am, I have finally broken down and want to get some poker books. Which ones should I read' Please only list 3-5 books. Also, how can I improve my ROI' I always run into cold cards when I seem to be playing my best. I am 'quitwork' on pokerstars. Someone look me up and let me know how I can play better. I play the $11 18-man SNG's. Should I be getting into the $22 18-man SNG's'' Erik

If in his mind he had to call, then he had to call. If it's rationalization you want, then there it was. It was a beat beat because the math/logic wasn't there, but if he felt the need then so be it. No way I would have called there because like yourself, I am grounded in the mixed play of math and logic but he seems disconnected from all that and in the long run, he will be a losing player and you will be a winning one. Questions about big monitors/projectors
I've been playing SNG's for about three years now. I would like to start playing multiple SNG's at once. I was wondering what kind of monitor or projector to use and what works best. I have a laptop with a 17" monitor at the moment. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, happens to me too. Just can't catch any cards for about three days and when I do, someone else gets lucky. Just keep playing through it, that is what I always do. I usually cash out every week, that way, I never let myself think I should get into a bigger game. I know my skill level and keep myself winning in the same game.

Re(1): Want to fund a poker account.... I use prepaid debit cards for poker. It is fairly cheap and easy.
Pokerstars stopped using firepay and told us to switch to Netteller. I use Netteller and it works like a charm. I think it was free to sign up, too. It links right to your banking account so your cashouts hit your bank account within 1-2 days. Erik (quitwork - pokerstars)

I'm 205 lbs. and can run 15 miles. I play poker, eat fast food, drink beer, but always run. I always run. One day a week I take a very long run. I only monitor my eating (1600 calories or less) three times a week. I usually eat just a soup and sandwich on those days and two snacks. This way, I stay the same weight and still eat all the foods I love (wendy's, chic fil a) without having to put myself on a 'diet'. Just find an exercise hobby you like to do and stick with it.
