Re:Need advice on this hand... bubble play... I think shove is the correct play.If he raises to say 8k, he is commited to most flops to shove like he did.So why not put maximum pressure on them, and make them call off pre, whose to say someone won't call off with JJ here' Isn't that what you want' If everyone folds, you still manage to increase your stack. I'd have to look closer at the stack size, but I think it is Shove > Raise Less. 28,480 = His stack 5,100 = Dead Money in every single pot this blind level 7,500 in the pot when it gets to him.Say he raises 5x that means 19,500 in the pot before it gets back to the ... Re:Another full tilt account hacked into Well, atleast in my situation FTP won't tell me anything in regards to what happened. The only way I found out how it was lost was by checking transfer history, and sharkscope and etc and even then I don't even think thats how it all got lost. FTP wouldn't even tell me how it was lost. All I can say, atleast from my experience get ready for a lot of headaches when dealing with FTP support. They won't take responsibility and will claim you are at fault, again this is just my own experience. Re:Puke spot with KK in a turbo SNG This is a call. However me thinks you are thinking in results oriented terms meaning it has to be AA, it can only be AA, no other hand but AA could possibly be played that way.Its a call and load up another when it hits. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Anyone familiar with Bank Security/FTP Security? FTP account was hacked, numerous times which FTP admits.Transfers were made to my ftp account from my echecking account by the hacker/hackers because ftp echecking requires no verification. Then most of the money was transfered to multiple accounts. However, for whatever reason the hacker decided to play with some of it on my account as well. Not 100% whether this was collusion or just a hacker wanting to make a quick buck without risking own money.Well eventually, they loaded enough to cause me to overdraft my bank account. However, there wasnt enough money in my bank account for all of the ... Re:Walk me through this hand... 5 left in a 4.40 180 With the blinds representing such a % of your stack, the call pre pretty much committed yourself to the hand if you hit any pair or most gutshots I believe.Read dependent, but maybe a reshove and vomit when called pre' I could be wrong, but I believe the optinosr are reshove/vomit or fold pre.Simply based on stack sizes, not really a stop and go type spot after the flop. Re:How would you have played this hand? I don't mind reraising the flop, because a decent amount of the time the guy will flat and check the turn, allowing you to see a free river card.Or at the very least take it away from him on the turn. I don't love the all in shove on the turn, because if he calls then what' I think a decent amount of the time, you can get the same result with less risk by reraising the flop a decent amount. That way if he calls and blank comes on turn you can reevaluate the hand and maybe save a bet. Re:What to do with a big pocket pair "preflop" in a tourny? There is no exacts or musts in poker. There is no if you do this then this will happen. If you bet any differently with a big pp than you would any other hand you bet, it will be easier for any competent player to put you on a hand. GG Bank and FTP Support As of today, I continue to get notices of charges in the mail from my bank.FTP to is telling me I will be held responsible for paying them the charges made to my account by the hacker.FTP did transfer some of the funds back, however they won't allow me to withdraw or transfer it to my bank account because my account is restricted because I haven't paid them back the charges the hacker made. Contacted the bank, and got the affdavit sent in, and tried talking to support. However the second the guy I talked to on the phone at the bank found out that I already had mailed an affdavit,he ... Re:was this a right push? My concern is why wait until we have such a short stack to get it in there' Since the players behind you are solid, they are more than likely calling with roughly AT+, KJ+, 88+. That range we are huge dogs, or only slight favorites against it. So we are in a situation where the players behind you are getting roughly 5 to 4 and most of their calling range at best you are 49%. Allowing yourself to get that short forced you to get it in here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Awkward spot in the 50c on Full Tilt I still think folding is the best play here. What do you do if you just flat and an ace with a flush draw comes on the flop like it did' If you call and lead out on the flop what do you gain if he calls' I could be wrong, but I think the only equity that is gained from calling would be in the hopes that you know you are ahead of the all in and the other person in the hand would be capable of folding if he doesn't hit the flop and you bet large enough. As is I think here atleast, you are just getting results oriented thinking in a spot where more often than not you are behind or flipping. Re:Interesting Spot in the 27.50 15k Turbo What are you hoping he has if you call' A small pp where it's a race' AT' KQ' Against most of a standard shoving range no way you are any more than a slight favorite. What was your intention if it got reraised for a smaller amount' The two choices I think you have are; limp/call a raise and see what the flop brings or folding.Raise/Folding too often takes away your ability to see a flop, also people could view that as a sign of weakness and start reraising you lighter.Limping with the intention to reraise, puts us in a dangerous spot after the flop. I don't really like playing too ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Update on FTP Account Issue (05/20) Short version of what happened - Account got hacked, logged on way too many times from other places and all of my bank account got put on and transfered/played with by hackers who proceeded to overdraw me, and try and continue to put money on. After a week of going back and forth with FTP support, and never getting a real response in regards to anything, a little progress has been made. They said they were able to recover around $300.Of course, they and my bank are saying I still have to pay for all the echeck payments that didn't go through, and remain pending despite me not making ... Re:FTP Idea!!! Please read FTP Doug In all sit n gos, the payout structure is already made because they know the number of entrants.Rebuys would through that off, because they can't know until the rebuy period is over what the prizepool is.Also what happens if someone is rebuying at one of the tables after an all in and blinds are about to go up' Does every table have to stop in order to wait for that table' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Spot in $22 1r1a I think more dependent on his play, is his and your read on the blinds. He is short yes, but you say he is a good player. With 850 in the pot he increases his stack by a decent amount if everyone folds to his shove. If he feels the blinds won't call his shove, he might be shoving here with maaaaaaybe 18% of his hands just a rough estimation. Also depends on how often he has been shoving. Is he shoving pretty much every hand because he is so short' Or is he waiting for a decent hand and trying to get dead money' Also where are you in regards to the payout' Is the bubble or a prize jump around ... Re:16 Turbo: Fold or Shove 10's? Looking at PokerStove, and a quick estimations of what their range would be (used 35% for one and 40% for the other). You are going to be anywhere between 45 - 50% favorite against those ranges.Could be more or less dependent on how wide the hand ranges are. If you fold you are going to have 11 bb in a turbo.I think it's a snap call, because in turbos you cant afford to wait around. If you lose gg load up another. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Lets look at the options Call - your oop of the rereraiser, and if any sort of drawy board comes, or a J,Q,K,A what do you do.Even if it comes all unders, you have no way of knowing where you are, and if you bet what happens if you have to see a turn' Raise - poor option, if you get called or reshove what do you do, also see option call in regards to post flop problems. Re:tough tough $36 sng bubble spot, easy shove? or fold to cash? 1100 in the pot preflop. A shove by you here makes the pot 2260. Strictly looking at the pot odds Button - 4 to 1 SB and BB - 1.7 to 1 Now that we have the odds, we have to decide whether the SB or BB would be calling off in marginal spots. As for the button, depends on if he is the squeak in the money short stack type where 3rd is as good as 1st.Or is he the type that would be willing to call off in hopes of getting a stack. I think its a shove situation. You want to maximize your chance to get 1st, not try and squeak in.If you fold here your left with 700 in a pretty much most calls are ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Do you go broke here? you put yourself in a tough spot by betting large oop pre. With 2 callers in position after the flop, what are you hoping that they both have underpairs or some sort of draw'If you see the turn, what do you do if the draw hits. While aggression is good, continuation betting is not 100% of the time mandatory.especially where if you get called you have no idea where you are at and if the flush hits, or a straight becomes possible on the turn what do you do there' also what if a K or A comes on turn' at this point all you have is 2nd pair in a multi way pot.
