Re:***Team Competition March $12/180*** i'm down, but i need a partner. Gambit360 just pm me if u think we could take this ish down. and stop all that nonsense about including 36s. we can't all play sundays which u'd need to in order to get in any considerable amount of 36 volume in to make this contest work. Re:Is this a correct shove?? stars 10k I apologize to you eddie for dismissing your post so quickly. While it is still a clear shove imo, i was under the impression that shoving is far more + chip EV than it actually is. Im glad someone took the time to do an equity analysis. I think that somewhere in between the range I posted, and the second range posted is probably correct. I think shoving AT def. has a positive expectation, but the reshove range I posted is probably to loose. I also think that the random nit factor, IE folding AJ/77/88 cannot be ignored in an overall analysis considering someone advocated reshoving as tight as ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Layed down AK: good or bad fold? you are right i didnt look at how small villians flop bet is in relation to the size of the pot. There is certainly value in raising sch a weak lead. I think flatting is fine if villian bets 2/3 of pot on flop. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Layed down AK: good or bad fold? I think this was played well. I think raisin flop is nad. You are either way ahread or way behind. On a dry board there is little value in raising that you will not get on later streets. Playin a small pot in position 3 way is fine. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:HH 3 bet/4 bet spot? Hand one is a fold because A) you have a tight image B) you have no reason to believe he is capable of making insane moves and therefor have no idea whether or not air is even in his range C) He is calling a shove with all hands he is reraising on the flop for value. While he really should flat the flop with a lot of overpairs so that you continue to spew, it seems you may have done that anyway. WHAT HAND ARE YOU REPPING!'!'!'!'I hope there arent any twos in your range, which is absurdy polarized to TT or air, and is therefor air way to often for your check raise to be anywhere descent. Re:Is This a Perfect Spot for a Stop-n-Go? While i totally respect you and your advice is almost always correct, 2 dollar tournies are far better for resealing than you would think. As soon as you are near the money people begin to fold a lot more than they should. While clearly some just play like maniacs, looking for players to ship it over with weak holdings is massively + EV. They do not understand that you would do this with a wide range and there for do not adjust. While in general you can get away with making less variance filled moves because the play is so bad in general, restealing def works vs the right player. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Best play here? I think this is a good example that could start an interesting debate on this subject. I think both open shoving and raise calling (given there is no insane action) both have there merits. It really comes down to how light those behind you will call an open ship/how light they will reshove. With how aggressive online poker has become randoms are reshippin far lighter, but have not yet fully adjusted their callin ranges to large overshoves. The answer to the OPs questions lies totally within what ranges we see randoms callin vs shovin. If we can fold out any higher pairs by open shipping, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Wishing death over poker Slowrolling is so much worse than telling someone to die. I honestly dont care at all if someone curses me off, but when a player is bad enough at poker to time bank in that spot, it completely ruins at least ten minutes of my life. In fact i think assassinito is owed financial restitution for the ten min of his life you destroyed/buy in of ant tornys he tilted off afterwards. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Sick spot in a tourney... you realize you just posted a hand that without reads is total spew, and called it a tough spot when it isnt at all. Then when people basically say this you give all the reads that you failed to post originally and argue with the advice that anyone who doesnt suck would give you. you clearly didnt want advice, because if u did you would have provided all of the relevant information. Basically this is the worst brag post ever and if he had flipped over a hand that beat you wouldnt have been posted at all. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:2 hands from 32k on FTP your 233 raise is fine just keep it consistent with your big hands as well. As played fold flop. VS a compitent opponent you ran into the only hand you are a head of and not by much. VS an idiot you are still beat by his range so it is still a fold. The AQ hand raise call shove. Any other advice is terrible Posted in: Poker Discussion |
