Pulling for Fed here. Def my favourite player ever. Would also like to see Murray break out eventually but it def won't be here. Expecting a Nadal vs. Djokovic/Federer final and would be amazed to see anything but that. Nadal wins imo.

if you could bring back any 2 series.....
I'm not saying that seasons 2 and 3 didn't by in large suck, but season 4 was much better and the "preview" for volume 5 or 6 or whatever it was in the finale was intriguing and I wanted to see what would come of it.

if you could bring back any 2 series.....
For shows I think got cut short I would say Heroes and Angel. Heroes was shaky for awhile after an amazing s1 but then picked up at the end imo. Angel was just awesome but got canceled when it was at its best. Lost and Scrubs are my two shows that were great and ended well but I wish were still around.

One of my going out highlights of the past few years was one of my good female friends singing this song word for word the whole way through when it came on at the bar one night. If she wasn't the girlfriend one of my best friends I would snap marry her for this alone.

Haha. One of my superhomer friends refuses to acknowledge that LA is a good team. He swears up and down that they've just been the beneficiaries of multitudes of lucky breaks and that if they win the cup it's a travesty. I keep antagonizing him for fun now.

Fair enough, and quite justifiable with Luongo's past playoff experience. I will say though that he's generally been a victim of team collapses moreso than personal collapses from what I've seen. Yeah he's definitely had some personal stinkers, but usually it's been the team. SCF last year is a great example. The team just completely fell apart in front of him and he got lit up. I like Schneider going forward too. He looks as if he can handle the media and pressure of playing in Vancouver much better than Luongo ever could from what I've seen so far. Wait. What' I can't speak for the STL series since I didn't catch most of it but Luongo and Schneider both played pretty damn well. Luongo let in 7 goals in games 1 and 2 that if not for very good goaltending would've been easily 10+. The team played pretty freaking bad those games especially and left him out to dry a bunch. Then Schneider let in 4 goals in the final 3 games.

Jersey was my dark horse pick in the east around Feb/Mar before I got swept up in the Pitt/Philly hype at the end of the reg. season. They're looking great atm. As I've said before would be a lot of fun to see them and the Rangers go at it in the ECF.

The players may care more than usual but we as fans still don't. I would rather watch playoff hockey even with my team out than that tournament. Like you or someone else said tho, world juniors and olympics are a totally different story.

With the way the playoffs have gone so far I think any team has a shot at it to be perfectly honest. I wasn't sold on Phoenix before but they've looked really good the first two games of this series especially.

Movie thoughts (quick) on The Raven and Young Adult
Too bad about The Raven. I was super stoked when I heard they were making a movie based on Poe's writings but the trailer looked pretty bad and so far I've heard the movie is horrible. Oh well.

Niemi is pretty average. I guess the way I chose to answer the question was the last time a team won the cup in spite of their goalie, which was Niemi. Oddly enough MAF should've been Conn Smythe the year the Pens won imo. Yeah his stats weren't the greatest but he was fucking clutch that playoffs from what I saw. Only reason the Pens made it and subsequently won.
