US friendly poker sites
Hey all, I haven't played online since black friday but have noticed alot of US players still playing on alternate sites. Was hoping to get some feedback on which sites are being used and any info on deposit/cashout issues and also rakeback. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How would you have played this?
Everyone has those hands that end up making or breaking your tournament and could win or lose you thousands of dollars. The important thing is did you play the hand well and in this case you can't argue with getting all the chips in the middle as a favorite. I would say I prefer mucking preflop a majority of the time unless you have a good plan for postflop action.

Are you getting away from this
I don't like the minraise pre, not that it changes much in this hand but I prefer to make it 600. I like the bet sizing on the flop but I prefer a fold to his shove unless he has been showing a habit of shoving his chips around with marginal holdings. While it's true that a set isn't the only hand in his range here you aren't so invested in the pot that you can't get away from it and you have plenty of play left.

The problem is it's a great spot for a bluff and when live players 3 bet preflop they are almost always going to follow it up with aggressive play later so again I'm not folding without a solid read that he is superstrong.

Just noted that villian appears to be playing the button which widens his ranges up a bit but still comes down to reads and bluff percentages. If he has any bluffing tendancies at all it pretty much an auto call without a good read.

Heres the thing. The pot is now at $437 and it will cost you $248 to call. You are getting 1.76/1 for your money. Now what are the hands that you are concerned about' 88-1010 have you drawing to 1 out so that would be the worst case. I wouldn't expect a 6 in his range but possibly JJ in which case you still have 10 outs. I would also put AA, KK, QQ, AKs in his range. I have seen live players overshove their AA even after a flop like this because they don't want to give up their AA. This is why reading people is so important in live play. That is a tough spot. How the guy plays and any reads I can get will play a big part in my decision. I see myself calling more than folding though unless I'm absolutely convinced he has me beat.

Extra $100 in my poker account
So I took a break from poker and just today made a deposit. Played 3 tourneys no cashes. Went to look at my balance and there was an extra $100 there that I have no idea where it came from...Even bonus money has to be cleared. Anyone got any ideas'

You don't have enough chips to be stealing from that position. I would rather you straight up shove than raise fold.

Hand early on in the $35K Guaranteed
I'm leading here a vast majority of the time. If he calls then I may opt to play small ball and check the turn but if he has shown any propensity to float with air or play alot of draw type hands then I'm leading the turn also. If he raises the flop it will be hard to continue without any reads. A quick check of hand history for any suspect play otherwise I'm probably bet/folding at this stage.

Only info on him is he has a FTOPS jersey. I thought on the turn he may have a set but does he shove the river without a K here' I would think he would check behind with a set but suppose shoving is viable. AQ or AJ same thing. I mean I really don't see him calling the flop and turn without a made hand. Anyway, I obv folded the river since I couldn't put him on anything i was beating.

For those that disagree with the ruling I would ask if you would rather chase the fish away' Sounded like the guy was a casual player having fun and wasn't aware of all the rules. Just my opinion but if it is obvious the guy doesn't know what is going on then the management needs to protect the player to some extent. Forcing the guy to put all his money in the pot when that isn't what he intended doesn't seem to be the right answer in this case.
