5/10 is not mostly luck just takes a different style of play and thinking, adjusting to the game is what poker is all about 5/10 is MUCH more profitable than 2/5 although 2/5 plays a bit more like a "regular poker game" for those that can't think outside the box

why play 5-10 with a $100 buy in' because its the most profitable live to game to play right now in FL (about $30 an hour for a decent player) a good player can adjust to any type of game although it obviously takes away some of the edge, just saying its a stupid game is being close minded having said that I can't wait until July 1st

Not sure where the jax mgr got that 1400 number but we were told right from the start the bottom payout would be 1100 The Venue where they are having Friday night cocktail party is a very cool place for anyone coming over the night before

I 100% agree with you Neek that in the last 240 there will be many good players. I was talking the 2350 as a whole. Having said that I know personally about 20 of the qualifiers from Derby Lane and I'd say half of them are C players or worse with 3 of them F's. GL to everyone

I'm serious where in the world have they ever had a million dollar total prize pool live event that is more +EV for a good player than this' FL poker players are the worst I have ever seen. When the new law goes into effect it will be reeeedonkculus. I had a lady with 5K at 500/1K blinds limp UTG and then fold to a raise. SERIOUSLY

live in Tampa have 162K going to April 10th very cool they are going back to 1k/2k blinds total pool almost 1.2 million IMO the worst field of 2300 players ever assembled for a 1 million dollar prize pool live event

I'll be playing at Derby Lane on March 13th and if I don't make it again on March 20th. 1st 5 qualifiers got 520 people total, judging by that there should be 1500-2000 entrants making a prizepool of between 750K and 1M which is nice for FL players. link for those interested /
