Re:timing tells in cash
i understand waht youre saying but at the same time, i dont think you're looking for the timing tells youve read out of a book... figuring out a timing tell on your opponent is more what im talking about.. for example, you said you purposely wait a few extra seconds to check raise bluff.. figuring this out as your opponent is what im speaking of.. Can this imformation be used profitably when youre mting..

6 max sng players.... some advice plz,
im wondering what the most profitable way to play these sng's is... I tend to play more full ring games, but have recently tried getting into the 6max... is it more profitable to load up 9-12 tables and run it like you would a session of 45's..' Also, if someone wouldn't mind giving me a run down of how one of their 6 max sessions go that would be awesome. How many games you run at a time, etc..' Thanks,

SNG Trouble spot questions..
A few spots I consistantly am unsure of in 9 and 6 man sngs.. (full table) A. $27 6 max, blinds 100/200 2100 stack... UTG w/ 88. - Are you ever raise/folding here' folding' pushing' (%..') - If BB has 900' or if BB has 3800' - Utg + 1 when utg min raise w/ 1000 back' - What pp are you folding' calling' B. $27 6 max blinds 100/200 3800 stack...button with AQ when UTG shoves for 1700' - Why do you fold/call here' If you call, how light are you calling and why' Thanks,

Re:did i luckbox this or standard?
Pretty standard to me... in the $3.30 the button shov with AK is pretty much turning his hand into a steal/bluff, where he should be looking for the A7 action..scared play, without playing the hand im guessing its a push and hope to win.. given that he open shoves AK, he prob isn't shoving any 2 here... if he doesnt even know how to play AK on the button... but if you didnt realise this from playing with him already, i guess its a call.. for those saying fold.. why' do you call A10, AJ, 55' IMO the AK shove is HUGGGGE -EV..but ftr what do you call here squid'

Re:matchlub article
Hey math, good article.. For the "multiple $50 depositor" trying to build a roll big enough to at least get through a few sessions.. what do you feel is the best way to do it.. ' in the long run it's gonna boost $$/hr playing more tables.. But in the short run where the large part of your mini roll is in play what do you suggest' Hypothetical situation.. Bankroll $1000.00 - solid understanding of basic sng push/fold play - can 4-6 table well without missing too much.. what limits,# of tables, size (9, 18, 45) would you suggest to build this roll' ALSO... When massive ...

SnG strategy ...
Hey, How much does the strategy used to beat sng's change between 6 man, 9, 18, and 45 turbos.. I understand the basic concepts of turbo sng play so please don't bring out your flawless sng strategy.. Im looking for key strategic differences used in each.. Also, Is it wise to not mix 9,18, and 45 mans in the same session or better to keep all the games the same when mt'ing.. ' Thanks, Rob.

Re:GusHeaven...the sickness
I seriously love it when SCTrojans makes fun of p5 microdonks for discussing a hand that they obviously havent spent the time to understand..but would like too, when he could easily give them a decent analysis of the hand rather than sit on his high stakes mtt'r too amazing at poker ass and laugh at guys who play because they enjoy it.. and not because its thier life.. big thanks to SCTrojans for being such a big part of the community... fuckin D bag !

Re:Double or Nothing Experts, would you fold the QQs?
QQ shove is fine.. AK call is much worse since he is big stack.. calling with big stack is so bad here. Big stack in DoN = double... You don't win more by going into the money with more chips.. easy fold. "AK could afford to call and lose..." - very bad statement.

Re:What to do with 88 near money bubble...
I think given that this is "$10 donkament" makes this that much more of an easy fold, with that arguement you're also dealing with the fact that this shov is going to be called far more times than not.. the " hardly competent $10 re buy " players are often not raise folding here.. which means with 88, AT BEST you're racing and at UTG+1 pretty easily dominated.. getting your chips in first is big advantage here as in this tourny if you're looking for folds you're generally going to get them a lot easier when you're first to enter.. this way.. picking up ...

Re:Live Cash 1/2...play a hand with me.
if you're playing a casino/home 1/2 game.. Villian doesnt need to be a thinking player..which he isnt given that he made a "min" raise into a multi way pot then checked dark..my thought process wouldn't be to think his bet as fishy.. but as stupid.. as in something a player such as this would do with a hand he felt was a "raising hand" (with no reason for raising other than his thought that "you raise with these cards") id start out giving him a range of AK-AJ..77-10. I feel like checking dark makes JJ - AA not as likely because generally even bad players ...

Part time poker player vs. Part time stock boy....
While in college, with a schedule too insane for a part time job what do you guys think about grinding sng's for a pay cheque hourly rate of...$15-20+/hr, Was thinking if someone were to do this, the double or nothings on stars are a low risk way to go about it.. is this is a good idea... what are better ways for someone who is lookin to make an hourly profit they would from a part time student job' .. Who are some guys that do this, and what do you play and why' note: not so much trying to maximize profit (obv. the idea) but easy way to turn $15-20/hr ..'
