Chuck Todd's thoughts on Stephen Colbert
That was the stupidest thing I have seen in a while. Chuck and his ilk have done more harm to the political process than a couple of comedians have or ever will. He is also scared because Colberts/Stewarts ratings are 100000000% higher than ANY show on msnbc (-morning joe of course) or all msnbcs' shows combined for that matter. Chuck needs to look at his own group (reporters) and realize that people laugh at them more than Colbert. And Colbert is goddamn funny.

Have you read what to do if you break 3-4 cfl's at once in your house' Do you really think people are going to recycle these bulbs' How about the energy used to recycle them' Have you seen the packaging on cfl's to regular bulbs' I can buy 2 regular bulbs in a cardboard box ( you know the renewable resource') the cfls come plastic, alot per bulb. You pay a monthly fee and reserve a boat when you want one. No unexpected expenses. And there is less chance you get ass raped by Cuban pirates when your boat breaks down offshore cuz you forgot to fill the oil.

I don't think it's fair for the left/right to define "violent rhetoric" used by the other side. I see different levels of hate. I see huge policy hatred from the right (currently). I see more personal anger/hate from the left.( I'm talking about the standard opinion shows on cable.) I always thought that olberman/mathews hated limbaugh cuz he kicks their ass in ratings and they truly feel or don't understand how people can see his point of view. tell your boyfriend to hold your ears so you don't fall backwards next time. You either have 2 wires touching or you have a metal outlet box and wires are touching box... Pull outlet out... Take off switch plate... unscrew outlet at top and bottom... straighten tabs on top and bottom of outlet... carefully guide wires and outlet back into wall... put screws back... duh... try breaker...

Yes I do understand the difference. Phi throws butts out the window because he doesn't care or more likely not know they pollute. Most people think they just melt away. On the other hand Lenny (as example) knows that the styrafoam cup he threw away would pollute. When he throws it away and misses, its an accident. When he decides to not go get it, its intentional.
