$6.60 Sniper UB-Tricky Spot with 2 Jacks
My image at this table had to be extremely aggro, opening lots and 3 betting a few times. I hadn't lost any big pots or shown down any garbage. SteveySee seemed solid, Iggy was loose/passive. First question is do we like just flatting the UTG shove' And after we do, are we folding after the action behind us. Does getting 3.5-1 on a call make it close enough to stick it in knowing alot of the times were running into at least 1 overpair..... Re:Figured I'd post this here
Thanks for the read man.....Interesting for me to read views of someone on the far end of the spectrum. All I ever wanted to do for the last 2 years was breakthrough and be sustain a life from poker, just cuz theres nothing I really love to do more, and I seem to be above average at it. So all I did was, study, watch play etc etc....This can be isolating... Now im more at a point where Im fine with having a steady income, makin a few extra hundred a month playing, and being able to purse other aspirations. Right now Im dead set on becoming a BEAST at darts before next season, and upping my ...

Re:O H/L
Everybody seems to have these rules about starting hands but it generally is very table dependent. If your playin 6max or full ring. Against weak/passive players, u can open ur game up in position as they wont be goin nutz potting everytime they flop the nut low or something......Generally if ur just starting out stick with ur A2/A3xx, and id say the biggest advice is dont chase ur lows without some chance for the high in multiway pots.

Re:Whats your line here on turn?
im folding the flop and if for some reason i did stick in the 500 hundo, im def not folding on the turn. If your goin to be opening with hands like 10 9ss then you want to be puttin lots of money in with big draws etc etc not top pair no kickerz......

Re:Micro Player: screw your goals, whats your plan?
Stop being such a Bankroll Nit and start take some more aggressive shots with my roll. Im used to grinding up a few hundreds withdraw to touch my money, put back on anotha hundo and try to repeat. Im pretty good at that, but it doesn't give me a real shot to score the KKKK's and that is the plan in the 2K10. To get to the K's.

Inducing Action on River Value Bets
Playin our usual Friday night home game last night, had a couple of spots on the river where the pot was very large, and I was fortunate to be holding nut hands vs 2nd 3rd types. A year ago, you could get payed off easily, but the group has improved some. I dont play much live, looking for some discussion on different chat lines, body movements, reverse physcology ploys to sway opponents to call, or sometimes when u want afold. Obviously your table image is a pretty big factor, along with table history and such. One spot last night.... 10-25c Cash, $40 Max, We had the 7-2 game ...

Re:Its hard out hear being a micro pimp
Play Micro, low stakes cash. There will be no discrepancy. Bad Players will always be easier to beat. Its more about the game itself. Because you take this 11 dollar tournie serious and want to play your A game, some just dont care about anything like that. Poker is just as much about playing your situations correctly as it is adjusting to the opponents your making them against.

Re:What is your worst reaction to a bad beat?
home game. like .25 .50 blinds a few years back. Against my father non the less. I get 88 in against his A10 off after he insta snaps my 4 bet shove.....10 ball on river and I promptly go boot this big red candle off my coffee table directly into a wall. Gf a few hours later, "who knocked the candle over". He pretty much laughed in my face after the river, saying how bad I play. I can agree now, but I still like my shove better than his call. Me vs my Dad in anything with me losing leads to ego driven tilt mode.

Re:Right play deep in $27.5?
Even though I think thats a super sick call......I dont think shoving the turn makes much sense for your hand. The only thing you'd play that way would be ur sets and hes winning against those at the moment. Checking back the turn sets you up nice for a value bet bluff on the river, or just cutting your losses and moving on. If the board pairs like it did, you might even get alot of flushes 2 fold dependin on ur image at this point. My opinion...Bad play.
