Re:What is BB Thinking Here? 10bb is the accepted level to start looking to push. You always want to open the pot preferably in late position with less people to get thru. Look at it this way, if you had 6k (10bbs) would he have folded 78o for half his stack' Yes. You should never get below 7-8bbs unless you lost a big pot etc. Get Harrington on Holdem (not his new cash but Tourney) he has excellent strategy for each blind level and he color codes them etc. Waiting till 4 BB's is way too late even if you double thru your at 8bbs or so and now have to push again. Re:Top Sng players on Sharkscope In regards to Jennifears game I don't believe in any way she advocates playing junk hands from different spots to confuse her opponents. That is just spew. What she will say is if in LOW limit Sng's and you can see a flop for cheap in position take it early because if you hit your 2 pr 3 of a kind etc you have a high chance to stack someone with top pr. To confuse your opponent on the flop in a SNG is a joke. Look close at Jennifears stats she plays low volume but for the last 2 months she has a 78% (around) which impresses me to hell. Re:Questions about living in vegas I think one thing people don't understand is the city of vegas outside the strip. The two areas most people prefer is Henderson and Summerlin (East Vs West). Also the NW is growing fast and has the cheapest housing for a decent price. I live in Summerlin and love it here. Walking, jogging paths parks with hoops etc. Green valley and Southern Highlands are nice too. Stay away from the Strip, UNLV and North vegas If you don't gamble there are art galleries, Plenty of Hiking, Red Rock Conservation area is 10mins from my house I hike there every weekend. I don't think everyone understands how it works. It's JUST like PC anywhere where you view anothers computer as if they were standing over you shoulder. This would enable people to see your hole cards which I'm sure happened. The question is how widespread is it' How many people were able to view that connection. If I were the hacker I'd have 16 computers showing your hole cards and enter every tourney or cash game you were in etc. In a tourney it would be alot harder because of table draws etc. I think ... Some guys call any raise and fold to a cont bet ,some call every raise and lead into you etc and will call any cont bet. Watch what a player does with the nuts and what he/she does when they are bluffing. RR the weak no matter what you have or hit. Bluff only one street 99% of the time beyond that is bad, too many calling stations. I keep a tight image and use that to RR a raiser who raises too much or bluff later on and when you do hit bet big to extract the most. See cheap flops you want to play postflop with the q3 people. It's obvious there was cheating and it was done server side which means inside job, a programmer or former programmer. As a company do you expect them to say "Yes we have cheating go on". Re(2): Controversy about Jennifear's article. I think the article is much more revelant today then it was a year ago. It use to be at the $5 level half the field was knocked out in the first two levels. Now you will still have 8 people left at the 100/200 level. At least 75% of the players know basic push/fold and have learned to play tight early. So it is much more important to get that "easy" money early, The bad players who go broke on k5 on a king high flop etc. You need to take every advantage you can. You will not improve or get better until you overcome the "I'm so unlucky tag". This has to seep (sp) into your game no matter how much you deny it. Re(5): VVubanga back in rankings Personally this a a joke. This is a COMMUNITY. Both people lied to everyone EVERYDAY not once not twice. BOTH were in a a scam that took $$ I dont care how many 100 or 10,000. One also asked other people for $$ for entry fees when they had the money for buyins so scamming others for $$ continued (Asking mkind and others.. )who knows how long this would have continued. I'm sorry but some here are very naive if you believe Wu didn't know anything about the money etc. These two are very good friends who played this out, lied to this community and tried to scam Andy and Mkind out of money. Re(1): Brodie unbarred? Too bad they unbanned him. I was at a WSOP table last year and he was the biggest ass. He tore up cards because they might have a slight dent delaying play. He argued with the dealer over a simple ruling calling the floor further delaying the game. Now mind you this was after he bluffed off 1/2 his chips at the 25-50 level and he got bluffed off 1/3rd of his remaining stack. He was a rude arrogant jerk. I didn't know who he was at the time but he had a FT jersey on. He thinks he's great challenging Bill Chen to one on one etc, yet he's a poor player. Now to give him the benefit of the doubt ...
