Bax needs to see a doctor? Bax - Any merit to checking the turn to him and playing WAWB from there' A big part of gobbo's range is floating you on the flop - the turn brought a card he can represent, checking allows him to bluff off to you the majority of the time that he's actually behind and may save you some chips when he's ahead. PXF Tourney - Should I have been in this hand? Clear fold - no reason to jeopardize 1/3 of a healthy stack hoping you get a coin flip w/ a 25% dead money premium (Villian may have a real hand and as you noted the action's not closed). Posted in: Poker Discussion |

**Discussion of A Poker Hand You're not deep enough here to make a raise and C-bet so your options are check, shove, or go-and-go. Your hand's too strong and stack's too shallow to check. You're a little too deep to shove but not overly so, it screams AK therefore turning your hand face-up but that's not all bad - force someone to make the hero call "for their tournament life" w/ a mid-pair and potential action behind (for EP limpers). Go-and-go is set-up nicely - raising to 6K leaves the big pairs in your range but clearly commits you to the pot so you'll eliminate the floaters; if you get called obv shove any non-gin ... P5ers Continue to Own Pokerroom Cleared the 20 "Ownage Points" hurdle the other evening to earn the right to claim that: "I Own " and get the free ticket to the Poker Classic in September. I wanted to thank Pokerroom for sponsoring the challenge and to encourage all of you guys who haven't been playing there to give it a try. I saw a thread the other day looking for reasons to give Pokerroom a try. Here're some of mine: - slowest structure around - gives better players a chance to leverage their skills - great lineup of midlevel tourneys: the Dailys, the $20K/$40K/$50K guars, and the Grand Prixs are all great (all from ...
