The Elusiveness of Confidence
i'd suggest not dwelling on both success and failure. dwelling in general is not healthy. and confidence is obv not in peoples genes. confidence, if anything, is due to environmental factors, not so much genetic. also many people who lack self confidence definitely do not strive to improve themselves. with that being said, great post herbstreet. agree 100% that consistency of confidence is important in life.

i might 3 bet a bit smaller preflop. but as played, if he checks i def. bet the flop about half to 3/4th pot here. if he leads, my action depends on the sizing and any previous betting patterns i perceive him to have. because he still calls your 3 bet, i think he has a small to mid pp or some broadway type hands. sometimes i spew here too, fwiw.

i cosign. however, i would pay cash to the top 3, and use the rest for other step tickets to the next 3 or so. i believe stevie444 and others may stay way from this step6 sng if only the top 3 get paid cash, with first getting around 3 buyins back. i could be wrong tho. i agree with your logic about keeping ppl in the step system playing. adding some kind of cash step system would be great!

almost always.. ive got one roommate and both of us are active. the headphones allow me to concentrate on my games. it also cuts out music if he's jamming or the tv is on. also, listening to music via headphones vs cpu speakers, i choose headphones because it helps me maintain my focus/zone. also when i watch pxf videos headphones is the way to go so i dont miss any good parts and i can watch them with other ppl around.

yeah, i understand where you're coming from. i play small stakes too for the most part. i try to play opposite of my table, in addition to generally playing really tight in small stakes.. and try to get max value w your big hands, since most ppl will pay you off. it sound like you believe you have some leaks in your game. id go back and find questionable spots, and post the hands for advice on here or another poker forum. and plus your perceived leaks one by one.. gl man.
