if you play the ante tables you'll get a point for every hand that sees a flop . . . (i think but I play 1-2 and 2-4). There has to be a flop for there to be a rake AND you need to have contributed to the rake, but the antes count.

There is a very very different skill level when you are playing 100 bb deep and 300 bb deep. If someone can recognize you as a solid yet inexperienced player, they will try and play all sorts of crazy hands against you when you get really deep. Ex: waiting for you to have AA on a 3 5 7 board. Guess what -- when you put all the money in they have 4 6 or 77 or 55.

Do you guys try and self police this kind of crap' I know you understand it, but well known players have such a responsibility to the game and to the other people trying to make a living in poker. I was suprised somebody from the crowd like Daniel didn't come over and try to get Flack to stop being an idiot at least. This wasn't some $1000 buyin event at an Indian casino, it's supposed to be the Pro's championship event -- like the Master's or the US Open in golf. Annie, I appreciate you coming on and explaining your thoughts. I agree with you that leaving UB would have been the easiest choice. The thing I could really never understand is the specific reason that you would endorse UB over Stars/Full Tilt. I have played mainly on UB for 4-5 years until I recently moved over to Stars. UB always treated me well and I always liked UB because of the graphics and the structures. planet hollywood had 2-4 limit last weekend. probably 7 people min every flop. mgm had a pretty nice room w/ 1-2 nl and up. MGM also had daily tourny's for cheap. For nice rooms (but w/ higher limits) I'd rank them: The Wynn, Caesars, Venetian. I didn't get to play at the Bellagio though.

Moe -- I haven't received much info either. I was told by live support the money is supposed to be in our accounts w/in 48 hrs. That was about 60 hrs ago (lol). I did get the first $2k though.

On their website -- its called something like June 25 Seat givaway. Basically, depending on how much you play, you get qualified into various freerolls to a $530 mtt w/ a 25 seat WSOP guarentee. I won mine for May.

UB WSOP
(Obvious brag post) I freerolled into this. This is a great promotion -- a relatively small site giving away 50+ seats for free. Does anybody have any information on this other than what's posted on the site' Did anybody qualify through UB last year' etc. Lastly, no need to post "UB is a bunch of cheaters" posts. As someone who's been critical of the site, but played on it for years, I think they're really improving. The live chat w/ support for VIP's is really nice.

really freaking pumped up. thanks to hazy and tater for calming me down through the run. i was like 2nd in chips and easily could fold to a seat, so its nice to have reassurance that continuing to fold is the right move. it sure doesn't seem like it when you're getting blinded and anted off.
