Quick Question...Online Poker in Kentucky Okay, I never thought this was something I'd have to worry about, but if I am not mistaken, online poker is banned in Kentucky. I am traveling there for the weekend and need to play the last two days of the month to acheive Ironman on FTP. Is it going to let me sign in or am I SOL trying to play there' I have no idea how it works. Thanks guys Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:how long does it take to clear a $600 deposit bonus? The worst part is that they give it to you in increments so when you've finally cleared it, it doesnt even feel like an accomplishment. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Tourney Idea Okay I had a dream last night that I was playing a tournament online that didn't payout cash but instead paid out prizes. Thinking about it, I thought it might be pretty cool to have a $10 buy in and give prizes away like monitors, laptops, or anything really. They could just do it for the stuff in the store, and would be a cool way to try and get stuff cheap IMO. Am I nuts or would people play these' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Why can't I beat the $22 180s?? Ok guys, I play the 180s a decent amount lately and have had success in the $11, but for some reason I cannot beat th $22s. Stats for $11: RickyG033 86$22 $10 196%$1,853 TiltPokerStarsE180-180 S10-10 Stats for $22: RickyG033 63-$4 $20 -16%-$223 Super TiltPokerStarsE180-180 S20-20 I realize the sample size is pretty small for both, but could this really be variance or just bad luck in the $22s' The $22 stats even include one second place, but shows Ive really done nothing other than that one 2nd. Should I keep giving the $22s a shot or stick to the $11s' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Caliber of Play in the Nightly 100k... Hey all, I am looking to start taking the occasional shot at higher buy in tournaments on Stars. I am interested in playing the nightly 100k, but am wondering about the caliber of play. I know there are a lot of great players in it, but I have to assume that there are donkeys as well. I believe they only run 3 satellites a day to this, so that may cut down the number of donkeys. What I am asking is, is this tournament beatable (cashing consistantly) for a average to an above average player' Thanks in advance Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(7): ~~ONLINE WSOP 2007~~ very very interested. I think they should be private tournaments def. You could maybe make it 15-20 events as opposed to 54 so that interest is not lost. Just make the events different games. The NLHE events should def be private events. Some people dont have the time to wade through 1000-2000 players. Im not sure if you can make Razz private events, but those dont usually have too many players so those could be played from the Stars schedule. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
