Ultimate Bet proves their ineptness again... Beofre I start, I preface it by saying anyone who says we get what we deserve for playing there is 100% correct. That being said I have to post this in the hopes that others will be pissed and maybe something can be done about it. After final tabling UBOC #1 and 9th in UBOC # 3 (obv brag) I was interest in seeing what the leaderboard looked like since they were giving away a WSOP seat for 1st and another to be played out for 2nd through 9th. Well after searching for it for days and sending support some emails, they finally posted some results on Tuesday, which did not include my UBOC #1 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Help! Problem installing UB and Im sure their support wont respond in time So I would like to play in the big UBOC tourney today, but I am on a differnet laptop till my new one gets delivered this week and I am having problems installing UB on it. I get the following error message: Could not load the DLL library C:\WINDOWS\USER32.DLL. The specified module could not be found. Considering the track reord of UB support I figured a P5 techie might be able to help me out. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Petition for Pokerstars and Full Tilt to end player to player transfers *edit* or set reasonable limits This post is ridiculous. I love how player to player transfers are the reasons that people cheat. The fact that the latest scandal had a player SIGNING ON as another playing and playing that tournament had nothing to do with player to player transfers. As a backed player, albeit part-time (whether I should be or not is not the question, lol) I have no clue how I would do it without P2P transfers. I can safely say that my backer has never Ghosted me, ever. In fact I would never let him, he sucks at poker. (just kidding big guy) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Sunday warm-up vs. Sunday Million......need advice from exp. players who play both alot The quality of play is better in the warmup for the simple reason that there are 8 gazillion satelittes to the million. Thats not saying that the warmup is exactly world class either, but its defintely better. The trickery is navigating through the 6,00 person minefiled. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

question for those who are backed I am backed by a friend of mine who also plays frequently online. Neither of us are pros, however we both play many of th major nightly and weekend tournies. We were friends before this arrangement so there are no trust issues here, and I have access to his account if he isnt around. He transfers (or I do it from his account) the amount needed for my buy ins and then (god willing) any amount I win I ship back to him. We do periodic accounting and if I am in the black I then get my share of the profts. Anyway, I received an email from Pokerstars today suspending me from real money transactions ... Re(2): Learn, chat, and..... If that was sarcastic, Stars was back in like a half hour, moved back their big Sunday tourney so everyone could get back in, and added 100k to the prizepool. FTP wont come back on now for FEAR of having an overlay in their big tourney. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Lilholdem954 is heads up! I'm not referring to all the posts here; I was actually talking about some of the real railbirds, who were not most of the people u are talking about. And I am not bitter, I am happy about 2nd, save the two bad plays I made heads up. For the hundreth time, I am impressed with Lil's play, and he deserved the win, but there were several instances where outplaying had nothing to do with it (as there are in most MTT wins). I dont see any semblance of hating or bitterness in my posts, just giving my opinion. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Lilholdem954 is heads up! Its true. I had no idea how badly I was outplayed. I bow to Lil and his greatness. I may even give up poker now that i realize how bad I was outplayed. For those with a clue who are still reading this post, what I was trying to say was while I thought Lil played a great game, I failed to act on a play I was trying to set up for a while, and I blame myself for that. Not following through on that specific hand caused me to lose focus, perhaps even tilt a little, and get my remaining chips in a bad spot. But thank you guys for letting me know I was outplayed, I clearly am not smart enough to ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(5): Lilholdem954 is heads up! I agree. I also agree with a previous poster that "being outplayed" with the blinds as high as they were is slightly exaggerated. LIL played a hyperagressive style that always looks great when you win, but can cause some silly blowups too. He does know wexactly how to implement it and for that i say kudos an gg once again. Re(2): Lilholdem954 is heads up! Not quite sure u outplayed everyone as u think, although u definitely played ur game well. I myself know I made a huge mistake heads up otherwise things could have definitely been different. You played well but the mistake was my own fault, not ur play. GG and congrats Posted in: Poker Discussion |
