Yeah you might have missed the part where I said its after hours. That would be after a full day of work (in which I am the number 2 producer in an office of 12 consultants) As to my ability to surf the web etc.. When I'm on my laptop I can go everywhere. There are no filters at all. However the actual office computers (hard wired - not wifi) have filters like crazy. Any IT guys out there that know anything'

Poker at work
My apoligies if this needs to be in OT as it is prob more a computer question than a poker question. I was wondering if I play poker at work on MY laptop but using the office's wifi can that be seen by my employers' I only play after hours when none of the owners are there so they would have to be looking the next day. Thanks.

"It has nothing to do with the trailer if you've seen that" this looked like a mockumentary on the trailer with very dry humor a la "spinal tap", "best in show" etc... Is it possible it was just to dry for your taste'

Considering that the average online max rake is $3, you can expect the extra $2 to hinder your bottom line considerably Better make that the xtra $3 unless your a non-tipping butt monkey. Oh not to mention tips every other step of the way, gas, possible room etc.. Online is the nuts.

Ok yeah I never gave the time to learn how to navigate PT. I know its like necessary and all, but seemed complex. At that level I doubt your earning rate goes down that much for added tables...however 16 seems a bit much. I would probally multiply win rate by 16 and then divide by 2 to get a conservative estimate. This is pure speculation and not at all what your looking for but just trying to foster some convo on the subject so maybe someone who knows something will help.. *)~

i always have to really work hard to tone down opening requirements in live play as I never play full ring online (always 6 handed). might be something to keep in mind if you play short mostly online. I always HAVE to have music as well because its fairly hard adjusting from 100+ hands per hour to 25 p/hr.

ive read for very high stakes players in cash games only this can be allowed .... not sure why or what has to be done but at the highest levels i think this is fairly common for cash game players to do.

If I stake someone in a cash game with no other discussion I generally take that to mean I get my $ back plus 1/2 his profit if he wins. If he loses its on me. I think this would be considered "standard". However I staked people with as high as 70% profit to me.
