How Do You Play Your Button?
I think a 4 bet on the button with aces is more effective because the blinds will think you are 4betting light because you have position. It will open up their range of what they'll 5 bet shove with. I don't like playing aces post flop because you don't know what the blinds have, half the time they'll have a suited connector that will either flop huge or you'll get a quick check/fold on the flop from them. 4 bet aces ftw.

JJ in a 3 bet pot in 6 max. Is it possible to fold pre? in WCOOP
4 bet to like 750 (in your opponents eyes that looks stronger than a 4 bet to 1000...) He will flat call your four bet with 1010, 99, AQ...You know that if he raises over the top he has to have either QQ, KK, AA or AKss, AK off...I wouldn't call my remaining stack hoping for AK...because more often than not you'll be against a higher pair. If you fold you're not crippled. I would find a better spot. --Just flatting preflop in this situation would leave you in a bad spot, because now you would check to him and he would fire a C-bet. Now you have to figure out if he's just standard C-betting ...

Make the hero call?
In a live low stake cash game in a multi-way pot with an ace on the flop, there is no way someone is going to lay down an ace to a standard continuation bet. The odds are someone got in there with Ace rag suited. Live players will call anything preflop with suited Aces or small pairs. I believe that is what Hersch meant by not cbetting the flop. The raise on the turn screams a flopped set. The guy probably flopped a set of 3's or 7's and was hoping you would c-bet the flop. He could have also gotten there with Ace rag suited and hit two pair. If you're going to call the turn you gotta hope ...

AQ suited UTG
It doesn't matter about stack sizes or how many players in this situation. You have to shove this hand everytime, especially since the next hand you will be the BB and then the SB. You can't hope for a better hand than that. An already easy shove makes this an even easier shove knowing your in the money.

My Bank Transfer was just approved after 4 days of waiting (which is fine with me), but I'm still waiting for my original cash out since May 29th (via cheque).

Tyson, you're right in the fact that I should keep playing because it's the only game I'm making a decent profit in. However, this lengthy time between cash outs has turned my head a bit and has made me think that my money isn't safe on this website anymore. I have e-mailed support and they can never seem to give me a real answer as to when I'm going to receive my money. They just send me automated messages all the time. Unless Full Tilt can get their shit together, I'm not going to continue to increase my roll in case the site shuts down.

Rush poker is the only thing I'm making money at. I can't play regular ring games on Stars anymore because of how slow it is. If pokerstars has Rush I would go there in a heartbeat. I'm probably quitting Full Tilt if it's going to take this long on every cash out.

To all of those who are still able to play online poker, have you had a successful cash out from Full Tilt within the past week or so. It's been 8 days since I cashed out but it still says processing. I have e-mailed full tilt support constantly but I keep getting their lame ass responses "thank you for your patience, we are doing as much as we can at the moment processing everyone's payments". Anyone else having problems'

Full Tilt Withdrawal Problems
I've been cashing out on a regular basis within those 6 weeks since black Friday, so I don't see how that would effect me since I'm Canadian...unless they are back logged from trying to pay off all the Americans (which is my guess as to why it's taking forever).

Full Tilt Withdrawal Problems
Hey, I cashed out $600 over 60 hours ago on Full Tilt and it still says it's "procressing". I'm used to getting an "approved" e-mail within minutes. I'm not sure why it's taking so long...I'm from Canada. Anyone else experiencing similar problems'

Re:Why do I play badly somedays???
The more you play the more you tend to play hands robotic. For some reason whenever I take a long break from poker I do very well the first week I come back. Mostly because there is that excitement or anticipation that has been building up and so you value your poker sessions more. Sometimes playing poker just for the sake of playing throughout the day is not a good thing. Your mind won't be 100% into it and it may cause a big losing session. Try to balance poker and other things that are going on in life so that you can play on a fresh brain.

Re(2): Sites with good freerolls?
the freeroles are a crapshoot, but the best one i have seen so far is the sunday 2 grand, but thats 50FPPs, they have $100 ones on full tilt but you have to get by 2700 ppl. i'd try asking someone for 10 cents, and doing a 10 cent tourney lol

Re(5): Card Controversy at the WSOP
wow those cards are absolutely terrible. I thought the WSOP was the grand event where everything is magical. Watching that crap on tv won't look too appealing, and it will be a bitch to get used to. I feel sorry for those players that push with 69 thinking they have 99 lol. There was nothing wrong with the cards they had last year.

Re(6): What would you do??
I'm pretty sure he has AA. Why would he push all in for almost 20K chip stack on a risky hand like AK or QQ it just doesn't make any sense. My guess is, he wants to push all in to make it look very fishy, and is hoping to god Below has something like KK so he can scoop him for almost everything. But at the same time, if Below folds, he'd be in content of winning the hand anyways. For once, i think you should fold KK. if your not 100% sure of what he holds, then fold. It would be crushing to see AA after playing so well for the first hour. You'll have 20K chips to start the 2nd hour, its more ...

Re(2): How you got your Bankroll to What it is now
I actually have a very nice success story that turned into a nightmare that i'd like to talk about and it involves bankroll management. I lost pretty much all my $100 i deposited on pstars and i only had $.55 left in my account. I joined a 50 cent tourney hoping i'd make the money so i could afford a $1 SNG. I did very well and managed to get up to about $2. Then i took that and did a SNG for $1.75 and i got up to $8. Then i did a $4/180 and WON IT. I was up to $216 when i then entered a $20/180 and finished 3rd for $400 or so...So i was up to $600. Then i cash gamed it and won a huge hand ...

How you got your Bankroll to What it is now
At one point in time, we all put our first ever deposit on pokerstars. I'm just wondering, how you guys and gals got your bankrolls to what they are now. Some of you have nice looking bankrolls with 6 digit numbers and some have their bankrolls in the thousands. How did it get that high' did you get lucky and win a nice tourney' or did you grind your way up until you had a nice bankroll to play the higher limits. Also, how long did it take you to get your bankroll to where it's at now' feel free to tell any success stories..... thanks.

$5/$10 with only $1300 bankroll. Biggest mistake of my online poker career, of course i lost it all with pocket jacks, the most over rated hand of all time. Talk about poor bankroll management lol

Closing Tourneys Out
After making the money in tournaments, the pace starts to pick up. I seem to make the money a good percentage of the time(about 21%) However, i'm finding it difficult to switch gears and get ready to try and make the final table. I end up finishing anywhere from 20th to 50th depending on the size of the field. For eg. a few nighs ago i played a $11 10B tourney and finished 55th, the next night i finish 28th in the same tournament. it seems i'm passing up on some big money here, and only cashing a little bit. I seem to either get blinded out, or lose my chips to a race or blind vs blind match ...
