Re:Prop bet for first to supernova elite Well, if that's the case, perhaps the quote should be reversed. I remember one of the stipulations being among that. Alas, I do hope gravy can pull this off. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I cannot stand how low-limit players get treated sometimes. You know, I had just won two small 70FPP tourneys, and decided I would try and break my own record for most tourneys played at a time. (My old record was 10. I decided to try 18 a few weeks ago, and tonight, played 19.) Now, when I play this many, it's impossible to keep track of every player. One particular tourney, I had raised on the button with JT, and got called by another big stack. A smaller stack moved in, and I figured I'd also get called by the big stack. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and the shortie flipped over TT. I flop a jack, which is totally sick, and this player: ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Your starting an NBA Franchise. Whose your first pick? I would pick LeBron. He's very solid, and isn't going to cause any distractions. Assuming you get a decent second pick as well, there is the potential for some awesomeness. Look at what Bron is doing right now with only a decent squad. Posted in: Off Topic |

Has anyone heard from Duff Maguire in a while? I was thinking about people who I had heard of when I first joined the community, and I remembered him. I know why he left the site, but has anyone heard from him' I'm hoping he's doing well in his recovery. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): If you play HORSE/RAZZ you will appreciate this hand. The sickest Razz hand I have ever seen, saw a person with a boat ... win. Yes, two people got confused in a HORSE game, and didn't didn't notice the switch from 8/b to Horse. It was perhaps the greatest thing I have ever seen. (If I remember correctly, one person was rolled up, the other had Pocket aces. The rolled up guy made quads by 5th, and the other got an ace on fourth, and filled later.) Re(1): Im having my worst run ever... what should I do? Take a break. Have a plan in place in case you do go on a horrible run, so you can play lower stakes. Don't have so much of your bankroll invested in a few tourneys. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): 5 Pokerstars 27 sngs in a row :) When I was first starting out, I won seven in a row. I had nine straight cashes (3rd, seven wins, another 3rd.) before going without cashing in thirteen. I was two-tabling at the time. It was awesome. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Do I fold JJ here preflop, or was I just unlucky? (Pasted this here as well as "Hand Advice" to get more responses. Ididn't put Garry on much, and I wanted the hand headsup. Did I misplaythe hand here' I took some time to figure out how much to bet, and Ididn't want to give scout odds to call. EDIT: Mr. KK was new to the table, and I did not have a read. Re(1): GREAT DEBATE: Best $4.40 player? Hello, fellow Manitoban. As someone who has NOT played a lot of these, the only one I remember doing well was "1000volts", or something to that degree. Other than the ones winning the $4.40 competition, I don't know who else would be in that list. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
