You are making this hard.... it's not, if you are an adult, establish yourself like an adult, you certainly aren't going to live off the grid so to speak forever, and take care of your business.

Camstudio.. free rip off camtasia, long as you arent sending the vids anywhere it is prettay legit, just the codec for compressing files is weaksauce. And this is incredible for your game, good move imo.

Re:Should I teach the 9y/o bro poker?
yeah you guys are right, valuable isn't the right word... but I just can't see this being a great idea for a couple reasons. to ape, I dunno maybe i'm in the minority for pros maybe I'm not, but I find the game completely unfulfilling aside from the freedom + money ... I definitely don't feel 'good' about the work I do, and while the ancillary benefits are pretttay sick -- I'd kill to find something I'm legitimately passionate about, to me there is a lot missing from being a pro to call it the good life... things a young kid might find elsewhere. Guess ...

sounds like he has the capacity to be taught a lot of things more valuable than poker.

Re:do you call? PLO hand
This hand is all messed up. Luckily he gives you chances to correct it. A) 3-bet pre B) If not A), bet/get it in on flop C) If not A or B, shove turn.... and none of these are even close given read.

2008 cobalt... i know what you are thinking, balla2thamax, but wait... its no standard cobalt... its the LT yo. its a strange feeling to drive around with enough cash in the car to just buy another one if the tire goes flat.

Re:Bank is requesting a phone interview. Help!
I've gone through this a number of times -- see my site to site/site to cash trading history on 2+2 and you'll understand why... basically so much money was cycle through my accounts to and from poker sites that I look like some kind of launderer. The end result varies depending on bank. 1) Accounts can be closed for life -- this was my chase bank experience and is essentially the company just dumping you because you are more hassle than its worth (nothing illegal about it), 2) Change of account - - had this experience with Citizens where I was required to open business accounts ...

Re:DURRR AND ISILDUR1 HU FOR ROLLZ
these aren't tournaments, I've been around HS cash games for quite awhile and there is infinitely less backing/staking/sharing going on in cash games. If he has less than 50% of his action at any given time I'd be very surprised.

Re:Room for more higher stakes omaha/oh8/plo8 MTT's on stars?
They ran a 100+R daily for a bit, testing the waters and that was a little ambitious... but there is certainly room for more PLO... just look at the WCOOP turnouts.

Re:Going Pro? --- How many will fail?
Always been my opinion that you kind of fall into pro poker because its so easy to do on the side of anything else... so you have a chance to increase your play without foregoing other opportunities until it become silly for you to do anything else.. a good % of these people succeed... Guys who "go pro"... generally do not.

you gotta post this at the other forum, this is primarily an mtt community.. given there are like 5 regular PLO mtt/weeks you got seek some cash gamers over at 2+2. I see lots of half-baked advice here on a question so general that it would take a couple thousand words to rail out a decent answer.

not that it should be, but this is pretty standard, your gripe is with the banking industry rather than the ftp I'd say.

Re:LONG My story: From broke and sleeping on the bench at the rio to chip leader of the main event to drugs and back again
How and why do you wear this story like a badge of honor' Its nothing more than a testament to poor self-control, lack of discipline, and other equally undesirable qualities that will get you nowhere fast in any endeavor. This idea that degeneracy goes hand in hand with success in poker is ludicrous, all it represents is an inefficiency, a leak in someones overall poker/life game that does nothing but hamper sucess and growth. Do many succesful players have these tendencies'... sure.. but that is in no way a basis to establish a causal relationship between the two. I think 8ROM tags it ...

Re:HSP, WHY? SPOILER
I don't think you do understand the concept properly, the only benefit to not running it twice is if Eli has a greater propensity to steam of money if he looses full pot because... If you play this hand a couple 100,000 times running it twice, Doyle will make exactly the same amount as running it once a couple hundred thousand times.... its just like playing two pots of half the amount at 83/17 so results will converge to the mean quicker.
