Haven't played on Party for 2 years (FT and PS) but the new look is awesome. Lots of new features, like choosing your 'prefered seat' (unless that was there before). Only scary thing is I was fooling around with the UI, railing a table and the whole software closed on me for no reason. After a few updates I might deposit again to give it another try ;)

I need some hugs please...
I know there are no clear favorites in Omaha preflop, and I am trying to learn the game as we speak. But please please tell me I made the right move preflop. Please tell me this guy was a complete donk for calling a 3bet/shove preflop with one aggressive player left to act behind him. Or you can tell me that I suck too, that's ok ;)

Plastic cards in humid weather (COPAG/KEM)
I live in Tahiti, where the weather is very humid. It says online that plastic cards like COPAG and KEM have been tested to withstand such conditions but I have been really disappointed lately. A year ago I bought decks of red/blue COPAGs and after a few weeks, the back of blue deck's ink started bleeding through the front of the card, to the point that it has become really unusable. What's sad is that I wasn't even using that deck, just the red one! The blue one was sitting in its original case in a drawer, in my living. So no, no exposure to sun or whatever. My friend insists on playing Double Your Money SNGs
What are Double Your Money SNGs you might ask' Well my friend plays on Sun Poker (Cryptologic Network) and fell in love with those SNGs. Basically, you have an even number of players at the table (6 or 10) and half of them get twice their buy-ins, while the rest get nothing. Once they all get ITM, everybody shoves ATC obv because there is no money ladder after you get ITM. I seriously think it's a bad idea to play those, just because luck is so important. And even if you win, how much more does it increase your roll' Also, the rake is pretty huge for such a luckfest...$5+$0.50 So ...

ACTION FLOP!!!
I guess JJ was a clear loser with the preflop reraise, but I thought he was trying to isolate with a hand like AK. Then the desired low flop came and my over pair and flush draw was too hard to lay down imo. Congrats Bax, you deserve it. But still, UB is just buying your silence man. This is just one way for them to avoid bashing posts about the scandals from a well-respected pro in the community. I guess turning down the money is hard and most wouldn't.

MY WORST BAD BEAT EVER = FORUM POST

Re:Load FTP Tournament Histories on PT
As of now, u can't request summaries, you have to enter everything manually in PT. However, you can google GFTS (Generate Full Tilt Summaries) which is a utility that grabs the info from the SNG/tourney lobby after it's done, using the UI. I don't know if it still works cuz FT has so many updates that it might not work and u have to wait for an update to GFTS. good luck

Sadly enough it happens and it has happened to me. I made the misake of using my name as my handle, and they clearly know I am asian. One day, this one guy asked me if I knew Cho (the Korean school shooter), and I asked why. He said, "cuz your last name is Wong".......I didn't say anything else after that. I was also railing this table once, and this guy had the Asian Guy avatar on Full Tilt. This one dude kept telling him to shut up and calling him "Bruce Lee" when he hadn't said anything bad. Sad.

Advice for playing against new players
I was playing for fun with a couple of friends who just started playing. In this one hand, I picked up AQ and raised 3xBB and got called. The flop was KTx and I put int a c-bet and he called me after some hesitation. Turn was 7 and I was sure he didn't have a K or T. I decided to shove and put him to the test. After some thought he called with J7,....middle pair....and he called my raise pre' I asked him later that if we had money in play, would he have called too' He said no. Next wednesday we have a 6-man game with money at stake, and I am hoping for something different, ...

Hey, leave people some time to reply LOL The reason you have no tourney stats is because hand histories text files don't keep track of these. Just open them up and you'll see that everything from tourney BI to number of entrants is missing. Websites like PokerStars send you those tournaments summaries (under the Request menu) by email, and you can configure PokerTracker to look into your email (via POP) to retrieve it and add it to your stats. Some other websites like Full Tilt unfortunately don't offer such summaries, and you have to enter them manually in PT, which can be a ...

you mean you can't connect at all, or you just have trouble connecting' For me, since the last 2-3 upgrades, I've had a heck of a time connecting. Given I live in a country with sucky internet, still, it takes 10-15 seconds from the program start to the time I login. to think Stars used to be faster than Full Tilt....
