Re:classic spot...whats your move?
I think fold > shove > 3b Jam > 3b fold. Folding or shoving can be fine depending on reads. I do either, but reads are the real element of the decision here. Oh yeah, and dont be a douchebag.

Re:Your reaction on your first 4 or 5 figure online tourney win
My first four figure score was back in 07. I was playing a $24 on Full Tilt and managed to get down to the final two tables. I had been running really hot obviously, and I was in a great position to FT. With about 12 people left I had the closest person 2-1 in chips. I was king. Then Full Tilt disconnected; not my internet, just Full Tilt. I knew this because my internet worked, AIM worked, and I even got my roommate's computer to try to sign onto that. I made a few calls but everyone was asleep at 2AM or whatever. I finally said fuck it, drove 20 minutes to my parent's house and ...

Re:It will be the IRS who has the last word.
I can't seem to find the correlation between it being ok to have separate accounts with MTT's and cash games, but not being ok to multi-account between tournaments. It doesn't make sense. Either way, someone is using their "unknown" identity to gain an edge. It's bullshit either way.

Re:My Reponse:
Let's view this for what it really is: an excuse for Wretch and Chad to exchange blows. This chop situation may be a little sketchy, but it doesnt concern anyone concerned, so idk wtf is the cause of hell's gates to open on the guy. This reminds me when a politician says something stupid or screws up in a minor way and the whole country erupts. Same deal.

Just a thought about the new $1 10k tournies on FTP.
Make them turbo. The $1 rebuy would play like a normal tourney with so many chips in play and the nightly deepstack would go faster/probably fill up.

Tough spot live poker
I play in a regular 2/4 game that really plays like a 4/8 game. Old donks making it anywhere from 30-50 preflop and usually have a few callers. You really have to pick your spots if you want to setmine, play connectors, etc. Me - $600 Crazy - $400 Other guy - $400 Anyway, I'm in BB with J5o and there are about 6 or 7 limpers and I check and we see a flop of J56r. I know everyone here is capable of showing up with open enders obv, 56, J7+, and maybe 55, 66, unlikely JJ. I open for $8 into about 12 just to see where I'm at because I'm scared we'll see a free turn. I get one ...

Re:Just did my taxes, couldn't have been easier!
I filed as a hobby player I'm guessing, they didn't really specify. They asked if I had any w-2 special forms (from a casino I guess') and I didn't. I just entered my wins and losses, had a profit figure, and then got taxed on that. Before using turbotax I went to HR Block, but the guy said he couldn't calculate it because I didn't have any "proof" that these numbers were concrete. I gathered my OPR results together and came up with my figures. I had about 55k that I claimed and came up with about 6k in profit (teach me to run good). Oh yeah, and they go through ...

Just did my taxes, couldn't have been easier!
Sup guys, Just letting everyone know that I used turbotax yesterday to do taxes, and it was a really easy experience. I ended up paying like 1k almost but it was really easy to use and they filed them and IRS approved them in less than 10 hours! Do it early and get it out of the way, you'll feel better.

I think AT........or Tx with FD. IS he type of player to limp with QT or KT or JT here' I think AT because of lack of strength. IF he were playing KT or QT it would be an obvious raise right' A5 i suppose is there too, but I see him raising with that if he's gonna play.
